01-01-2020.... new month, new year, new decade!

I'm in a new house, in a new State, about to start a new job!

It's time to get a new grow on the go!

I've been loving the bud from my last grow, Night Queen, Toofless Alien, Glueberry OG and Blue Amnesia... not much of the NQ and TA left, but there's plenty of BA and GB.
After all that hoo haa with the Blue Amnesia Auto turning out to be a Photo, and moving house a couple of times, 3 months has flown by, and I'm itching to get growing again.

I have selected the following strains:
    1. Toofless Alien by Mephisto. This is my last seed of this fantastic Indica Dom strain... it is 5 years old, but I had no problems with her last run.
    2. Blue Amnesia XXL by Dinafem. I have plenty of these beans, and I love the huge harvests. I just hope this one is an Auto!
    3. Night Queen by Dutch Passion. My favourite Indica... hard hitting and beautifully fragrant.
    4. Cookie by Dinafem. I was given 3 of these beans by @Dinafem-Mark to take part in the Dinafem Solo Cup challenge, but I was unable to participate because of moving house.
    grow 107 Seeds.JPG

The new house we're renting presents a few challenges. We're not rural anymore, so that means neighbours, and mains water.
Security is gonna have to tighten up.... no bright lights at night, the smell etc.
Mains water is EC 0.2 here and reeks of Chlorine....... I'm used to growing with EC 0 rainwater.

I got 4 Solo Cups (with a few holes poked in the bottom) filled with Coco, made up an EC 0.7 pH 5.8 nute mix, and gave the pots a good soaking, let them drain and sowed a seed in each one.

I covered the pots in cling film for humidity and put them in a box to keep them in the dark. Its nice and warm, 30°C plus in the day and mid 20s at night. The seeds should pop through in about 3 days.

    day 0 Group.JPG

So I wish you all the best for 2020 and beyond, may your harvests be bountiful and your buds juicy!

Thanks as always to @muddy-ledhydroponic @Dinafem-Mark and @DutchPassionTony

    best wishes to all the Skyline LED crew.... @hope2grow @Vapo @NG420 @Taipan @Duggy @James0807 and @otuaflower

To all the Aussies out there... @smokeyfromau @hecno @the green bandit .... hope you're safe Dudes!

... and all my grow buddies, including @Ribbzzy @Iriee Vibez @G.Leave @Terra Firma @Trichome farmer ... have a good one!

    Day 2 - just popped!
  • Good news!..
During the course.of the 4th Jan, the Blue Amnesia, Toofless Alien and Night Queen popped their heads through the Coco.. Here they are on day 2....
    large.5e12afae6b058_day2BA.JPG

    large.5e12afccf0870_day2TA.JPG

The Night Queen wasn't looking right, the upper cotyledon was green but the tip and underneath was brown...
    large.5e12afbcea66c_day2NQ1.JPG

I thought it was dying until I got my glasses and head torch on, and teased off half of the shell to reveal a nice healthy, young seedling!
    large.5e12afc53374b_day2NQ2.JPG

That's about 60-70 hours after sowing the seeds direct in EC 0.7 nutrient soaked and drained Coco.
No handling means no stress and a good start in life.

My patience got the better of me, and by the end of that day, I had a gentle dig around for the Cookie seedling..... found the seed unhatched, but perhaps very slightly open on one edge, so I re-covered her with Coco and put the cling film back over the pot, and topped the whole lot with some card. Fingers crossed.... I was tempted to just start again, but it was worth a shot.... these seeds don't cross borders easily.

The next morning I opened her up, and dug very carefully again, and saw a little tap root, so I covered her again and waited.....
This morning, I was greeted by her popping through the Coco, so 2 days behind the others and hopefully not too stressed out by my nosing around.
    large.5e12af967567a_day1Cookie.JPG

It was a massive seed, so maybe that had something to do with it?
    Guess which one I picked...
    large.DSC_5200.JPG

Anyway, that's them off to a good start, my 100% germination record STILL intact after 17 grows now.
Typically we have a Landlord visit next week, so I haven't got the tent out yet.... instead I've gone for the old cardboard box set up again...
    large.5e12afd42ab61_day3Group.JPG

That's a Skyline 100W LED unit sitting on top with a hole in the box to let the light through, and a 4 inch extractor fan.

Once the Landlord's pissed off, I'll get the tent up and we won't have an inspection for another 3 months.... enough time for these Girls to do their stuff!
In that time, I have to work out how I'm gonna keep the temps down.

day 13 - thirsty and hungry
  • Nice start Tee.
Cheers mate, things went a bit downhill though.... as you will see.....

If its not mad temps, ventilation issue, or new EC, its the arsehole landlord, if its not that its bush fires!.
... now heavy heavy rain and flash flooding! It's put pretty much every fire out though!

How do you rate the night queen, looks to be an interesting strain?
How’d you get original breeders packaging in? Mine have always been put in baggies
I love Night Queen... 100% Indica KNOCKOUT GEAR!
When I bought seeds (from Seedsman), they came in baggies, but I think that was because I bought 2 or 3 of a strain, when I bought full packs (like a Dutch Passion x7 seed pack) I usually got the packaging, but that was in the days of their paper packs.
I've been lucky to win or have seeds given to me direct from Dinafem or Dutch Passion, and those came in the lovely tins! Some of those beans came via a mate in the UK, private packaging etc.

What a pain in the arse renting is!!! The Landlord's been round and has organised all sorts of work to be done.... so getting the tent up has been a no no.
So they've been in the cardboard box, under a single 100W Skyline and feeling very neglected.

By neglected, I don't just mean lighting and growspace.... they've been in Solo cups all this time, so as they've grown and roots have developed, they need feeding daily or else they dry out.... and as you know, I tend to be a bit of a slacker....

Sure enough, on at least 3 occasions, I've been greeted by this kind of sight....
    day 18 Group.JPG

clockwise from top left: Cookie, Night Queen, Blue Amnesia and Toofless Alien on day 18,

The Blue Amnesia and Night Queen started off very well, but because they had grown more, they suffered the most when I forgot to feed them for a few days.
The infernal heat hasn't helped either..... keeping the temps down is a nightmare.....
    DSC_5551.JPG

    Yes, that's nearly 44°C ambient!!!

A closer look at the Blue Amnesia XXL.... poor thing.
    day 18 BA 1.JPG

A couple of hours after a good feed, and here she is....
    day 18 BA 2.JPG

Night Queen was also a bit thirsty ....
    day 18 NQ.JPG

Toofless Alien wasn't looking too bad in comparison, but at day 18, I would have liked her to be a bit bigger than this....
    day 18 TA.JPG

Cookie was a couple of days late, so she looks fine...
    day 18 Cookie.JPG

That was just the first of a few occasions where I've had to resurrect one or more of my ladies after a few days without feeding, so they've all now had a turn. I've made the original 20L bucket of EC 0.7 feed (that I used to germinate them) last all this time!!!

By the time they were at day 33, I had the all clear... no more Tradesmen coming to nose around (for a few weeks at least).

What a sorry state of affairs....
    day 33 TA NQ C BA.JPG

From left to right: Toofless Alien, Night Queen, Cookies, Blue Amnesia

I do apologise to you all for this abomination of a grow..... :yoinks:

This is what I usually have for you at the day 30 mark....
    day 30 group 1.JPG

Mind you, the temps were managed better in a tent, and they have a 400W Skyline EACH while having the luxury of 20L airpots to stretch out in.

My current lot live in party cups, share a 100W Skyline in a cardboard box stashed away in a hot room.

Is there time to turn this grow around???

    More soon!

day 33 - repot and pray
  • Hopefully you've stopped laughing at my feeble 33 day old plants.

Here they are, one by one, like they've been in a North Korean detention camp....

    Blue Amnesia...
    day 33 BA 1.JPG

    Night Queen...
    day 33 NQ 1.JPG

    Cookies....
    day 33 C 1.JPG

... all showing signs of heat stress, extreme thirst and nutritional deficiency.

and Toofless Alien.... tiny but well into flowering mode.... it is too late to get any more than a joint's worth out of her in the end???
    day 33 TA 1.JPG

Literally minutes after the last Tradie pissed off out of it, I put the tent up, rigged up a 400W Skyline and put them in their new home, while I spent the afternoon transferring them into 20L airpots, watering them with a fresh mix of EC 0.8 pH 5.8 feed and giving them a tidy up.....

    Blue Amnesia....
    day 33 BA 2.JPG

    Night Queen....
    day 33 NQ 2.JPG

    Cookies....
    day 33 C 2.JPG

    .... and Toofless Alien...
    day 33 TA 2.JPG

I stayed up all night slowly but surely setting up the intake and exhaust, getting very very stoned and putting up more lights.

Now they have a 400W Skyline each, they have nice roomy 20L airpots to fill out, and the environment's a bit more manageable...

Here they are then for the rest of the grow, very late on day 33.....
    day 33 Group.JPG

    Let's see what happens!

day 51 - starting to flower
  • Thanks for your comiserations Guys - it's been about 18 days since the repotting, and things aren't looking too bad....

    large.5e51df1f789b0_day51Group.JPG

clockwise from top: Night Queen, Toofless Alien, Blue Amnesia and Cookies

I think I was too late repotting the Toofless Alien... she was flowering well before I moved her from a Solo cup to the 25L airpot, so she was slowing down her vegetative phase.
At 36cm high, all I have is a singe cola - she looks like she's buried up to her neck in the coco....
    large.5e51df425445c_day51TA.JPG

She's quite dark green too, so perhaps she couldn't cope with the (mild) EC0.8 feed I've been giving to them all.... Nitrogen toxicity?

The others have grown surprisingly tall.
The Cookies is tallest at 92cm....
    large.5e51df0f0281d_day51Cookies.JPG

Blue Amnesia XXL always stays in veg a bit longer, and this one is no exception, coming in at 77cm tall.....
    large.5e51df03552ed_day51BA.JPG

    Finally Night Queen at 65cm.....
    large.5e51df320987b_day51NQ.JPG

I'm gonna start mixing a separate feed for the Toofless Alien, and give her Bud XL instead of Nitrogen boost. I'll keep the rest on this current feed a few more days then move onto the flowering additives.... Bud XL, Bud Candy and a splash of PK13/14.

I'm still being pretty lazy with the watering, maybe every 3 days, sometimes 4 or even 5.... this grow is not getting my full attention, and it shows!

It's looking like a low weight final haul, so I might get on and plant a few more seeds?
    :g:

On a positive note, earlier this morning, I opened a jar of the amazing one and only photoperiod Blue Amnesia XXL from my last grow, and now I'm mashed, so that's it for today!

    Day 68 - mid bloom
  • Day 68 of this shambles of a grow!

    As a group...
    large.5e689c9ec518e_Day68group1.JPG
Clockwise from top: Blue Amnesia XXL, Toofless Alien, Night Queen and Cookie.

That red bit of card on the side is protecting 4 new seeds that are germinating in Solo cups. Daiquiri Lime, Colorado Cookie, Night Queen and Blue Amnesia XXL.

The Dinafem Cookie is very tall, I burned her cola tip so that's gonna shit on her parade....
    large.5e689c9740606_Day68Cookies.JPG

The Blue Amnesia XXL is also very tall, and both are in the same sort of stage flowering wise.
They look like shitty Cristmas trees.... the ones no one wants.
    large.5e689c8e85534_Day68BA.JPG

Night Queen is just as un impressive...
    large.5e689ca62c1e0_Day68NQ.JPG

As you can see, a bit of staking out to help get that light in there, and give me an extra 'teenth.

They look a bit pale, and a lot of leaves have fallen off, but that's because I've been slack on the feeding, I left them for a week, untouched, and they suffered. It was while I was doing the PK13/14 thing as well.

Lastly Toofless Alien. She didn't grow very tall after the late repotting, just went straight into flowering....
    large.5e689cabc5362_Day68TA1.JPG

I reckon she'll be done in a couple of weeks, she's really sticky.
    large.5e689cb2a54ba_Day68TA3.JPG

That's enough for today. See you soon!

    day 79 - nearly done
  • Welcome back. It's been a few weeks since the last post, and not much has happened... they are all slowly progressing towards the finish line.

Here they are just over a week ago on day 71, with the very tall Dinafem Cookie centre rear, then going clockwise, Blue Amnesia, Toofless Alien, and Night Queen...
    large.5e7717d8f375e_day71group.JPG

    ....and today on day 79........
    large.5e771802a10e9_day79group.JPG

You can see the colas filling out, but that's about it. I've been a bit better at watering them, and they are reasonably happy.

    Here's the Cookie....
    large.5e7717f681d59_day79Cookie1.JPG

Quite a lot to fit in one frame, and my photography ain't the best these days, but she's laden with some nice looking buds.

    Here's a cola shot.....
    large.5e7717fd888a2_day79Cookie2.JPG

Blue Amnesia is also a tall girl.....
    large.5e7717e7eb62a_day79BA1.JPG

No doubt about this one being an Auto.... flowering on 24/7 as she's meant to!

    She's also filling out well....
    large.5e7717ef4a9ba_day79BA2.JPG

The Cookie and Blue Amnesia are both very similar in structure, predominantly a main centre stem with a few side branches lower down. They had time for a good stretch after they moved from the Solo cups into the 25L airpots (quite late on day 33).

The Night Queen is also doing reasonably well after the late move and numerous episodes of severe dehydration early on....
    large.5e7718067e2ec_day79NQ1.JPG

She didn't get as tall as the other two, but she's a stocky one....
    large.5e77180ac16c5_day79NQ2.JPG

The Mephisto 'Toofless Alien' - my last one..... she was already well into flower by the time I moved her out of the Solo cup on day 33, so she didn't stretch at all.

One main cola developed, and it's quite solid and juicy, and close to finishing, but there's also been some side action since the move into the 25 L airpot, which is at a different state of maturity to the main cola....
    large.5e77180f3bdbb_day79TA1.JPG

The main cola is there in the centre and front while the less mature side branches rise up at the back.

Here's a closer look at the main cola....
    large.5e771813c557e_day79TA2.JPG

    ... and a different view....
    large.5e7718180fc01_day79TA3.JPG

My 6 inch intake fan broke down about a week ago, I walked in to see my tent looking like a balloon!

As a quick fix, I had to replace it with my 6 inch intake fan, and use a 4 inch fan for intake instead.

That's made managing temps difficult in this hot spell, and I recorded a max of 38°C at one point.

I use 6 inch (150mm) Hyperfans for intake and extraction. Each one comes with it's own speed controller so I can adjust each one to get enough extraction to manage the heat and get a bit of negative pressure. Now I have my shiny new 6 inch Hyperfan back on the intake, I'm able to manage temps a bit more, and I'm running between 25-30°C.

I have 4 more seedlings on the go, they popped 10 days ago after I planted them direct in Coco in Solo cups.

Here they are on day 3 - clockwise from the top left, Blue Amnesia, Night Queen, Colorado Cookie and a day 2 Daiquiri Lime under wraps....
    large.5e7717d0db3fa_day3BANQCCDL.JPG

As always I love Night Queen for it's heavy hit, and Blue Amnesia is a tasty big producer.

The Dutch Passion 'Colorado Cookie' is an old favourite and the Daiquiri Lime has earned me a spot on the Dutch Passion blog in the past.... another masive potential yielder!

I'm pleased these both germinated, as they were from stock I got almost 6 years ago in April 2016!

100% succesful germination for 18 grows doing 4 plants each time.... I can't be arsed to do the maths.

Here they are today on day 10.....
    large.5e7717dfcea9b_day10DLNQBACC.JPG

I've got 2 bags of Coco ready to move them into bigger pots, but all I have are the 25L airpots that are currently in use.

I might get some cheap plastic 5L 'normal' pots and move them over in a few days time.

I've got some 5L airpots, but they are tricky to move into 25L airpots later on. The roots get disturbed and that can slow down growth for upto 3 days at a cruical time.

I figure the smooth conical shape of the regular 5L plastic pots will be easier to transplant as I can use the pot to make the right shaped hole in the coco in the 25L airpot, remove the pot and pop the plant in the hole.

The current grow is at day 79... and they probably have another 3 weeks on them, so I won't have those 25L airpots available for the new grow until after day 30, which as you've seen from this grow, is WAY too late.

Have a nice weekend and stay Corona Virus free. Wouldn't it be great if Cannabis was the cure!

Day 85 - the mould and the new
  • Day 85

Still no harvest, and they're all well past their due dates.
    large.5e81fe3158043_day86Group.JPG
Clockwise from left.... Night Queen, Cookies, Blue Amnesia XXL and Toofless Alien

The little Toofless Alien was closest to finishing, with a nice chunky central main cola along with some reasonable side branches.

Unfortunately, the whole main cola was full of mould, so I had to cut that off, leaving this....
    large.5e81fe40d556c_day86TA1.JPG

    You can see the gap.
    :wallbash:

It was my fault, I let her get too bushy and there's no direct air circulation fans. Inside all that foliage, she was as moist as fuck.

Also, I let her go too long - as well as the remaining two smaller but very mature stems at the front, she has a couple of less mature stems (at the back on the above pic) that have grown taller, and I was hoping they'd fill out in time.....
    large.5e81fe441c9ed_day86TA2.JPG

I plan to harvest the shorter, mature stems in the next few days, then keep her going till the rest of her is done.

The Dinafem Cookies is almost there too...
    large.5e81fe1d72884_day86Cookies1.JPG

She's got plenty of bud on her, and those colas are fattening up every day.
Here's a closer look at her main cola.....
    large.5e81fe253245f_day86Cookies2.JPG

Blue Amnesia is looking very similar to the Cookies - tall with long candy canes......
    large.5e81fe0979b4f_day86BA1.JPG

Blue Amnesia is always a juicy babe and this one's no exception.....
    large.5e81fe105c239_day86BA2.JPG

The Night Queen is also quite a bushy girl....
    large.5e81fe361ae0b_day86NQ1.JPG

She will need a good clear out down under in the next few days, or else she'll go mouldy as well.

I'd better get my arse in gear cos her main cola is looking lovely....
    large.5e81fe3caebed_day86NQ3.JPG

I think there's still a good few weeks to go yet, it's day 85, and I expect them to go into the 100's.

You might have seen the smaller plants in the tent as well....

I planted some new seeds a few weeks ago, and on day 14, I moved them from their starter Solo cups, into 5L regular pots. Good timing cos they were just getting established in the Solo cups and their roots were at the bottom.

The transplant was easy, but I was too stoned and too rushed, and forgot to take preliminary photos and keep track of their strain names.... doh

I know which one is the Daiquiri Lime, as she was looking a bit funny last time I showed you them on day 10.
    DL is top left.....
    large.5e7717dfcea9b_day10DLNQBACC.JPG

Here's Daiquiri Lime on day 17...
    large.5e8209c1af69c_day17DL.JPG

She's looking quite dark green so I'll cut down the Nitrogen, but otherwise she's growing well.

I had to identify the others by guessing the development order, and double checked by comparing the first set of single leaves from day 10 with those of day 17. It did my head in looking for any similarities and differences in the leaf edges, but both methods came up with the same answers.....

    .....so here goes.....

The Colarado Cookie is also showing signs of too much Nitrogen, but again is developing well.....
    large.5e8209bc6c0e1_day17CC.JPG

Blue Amnesia was the least developed last week, but she's looking good and growing vigorously...
    large.5e8209b0bf572_day17BA.JPG

and the Night Queen is tallest, looking fantastic....
    large.5e8209c828083_day17NQ.JPG

It's been very quiet on here.... no other posts in ages, so I hope you are all well.

I've been cut down to 2 days work a week, just doing urgent work.
With all that time at home, I will, provided I stay virus free, get a lot of shit done around the house and garden, and have a bit more time for my grows.

I'm thinking of growing some veggies, but haven't a clue how to it.... the soil seems very fertile, but the local kangaroos, bandicoots etc will eat everything above and below the soil, plus there's bats, and lots more.

A greenhouse might be better, but do you grow the plants in pots then? Can I use my own soil or will I have to buy the stuff instead?

Can I grow stuff like tomatos and chillies in coco instead of soil?

Any one out there with some pointers would be gratefully received!

    Thanks for swinging by!

    day 88 - Juicy trichomes
  • Even your less than normal grow is great, man! I would be happy with those plants in cabinet! Nice job, man!
Thanks Iriee, I think your post, and a few others, picked me up and made me put some effort into this grow. I gave them such a bad start, and wasn't expecting them to even live, let alone produce any sizable amounts of bud, but hey, they've come good!

Hey TeeTee Bro ! :d5: :pass: Your grow is looking great even if you dont think its better than some stuff ups ive had recently. I am growing 2 Nimbin plants, ones about 1.8mtre, and has curling leaves, could be pot bound as its a 20L paint bucket or nute related. They are staring to flower up and i did some LST with the larger of the Nimbins.
Smokey.... thanks for the pep talk too Bro... amazing what a simple thing like keeping up with the waterings can do!
A 1.8m plant in a 20L pot... what's she gonna be like if you give her room to stretch her feet.... I must take a look and see how the old Northern Rivers classic's doing!

They look very nice teetee bro.:pass:
Cheers Man, the 400W Skylines are just so easy to use, plug in and forget about it.
My new plants are loving the spot in the middle, visible difference in growth for whichever plant gets a turn.

Hey m8.. very quiet round here indeed.. fkn virus :cuss: glad your gonna pull some quality bud out of this grow after all.. and the new ladies are off to the textbook Teetee start.. amazing growth brother.

I'm workin 2 days home 2 days office on and off.. much prefer the home option!!

I'll be hangin around checkin in :jointman:
Cheers Hope... I'm a bit surprised at how the TA, NQ and Cookie have turned out, the pics don't do them justice, cos they are budding up nicely for a modest haul.

The new ones are flying away, so much so, I might have to repot them again sooner than I thought, and before the current lot finish... gonna be crowded... I had to retire my 1.4m tent and I'm down to a 1.2m... I miss that extra space, I dunno how you manage your perpetuat grows so well!!

I'm shitting myself about mould, and my eyesight's not the best, so I wear my reading glasses and a head torch for a quick inspection, but I get out the macro lens to get a close look at the trichomes.

These are all from day 88, some macro shots of the main colas.

    Starting with Blue Amnesia....
    large.5e855875d0de5_day88BA.JPG

    Cookies is looking lovely.....
    large.5e85587d8b9c2_day88Cookie.JPG

    .... and Night Queen....

The Toofless Alien is in mid harvest.... I cut off the 3 mature stems cos they were done and I didn't want to lose any more to mould. She's well sticky....

    Here's another look....

    Some ultra close ups.....

The Toofless Alien was repotted from a Solo cup to the 25L airpot at day 33..... way too late, as she was well into flowering by then. Once she settled into her new pot, she then had a late growth spurt, giving me a few more colas.... you'll see how the new stems rose up around the main cola.....

back on day 58... just the main cola....
    large.5e51df425445c_day51TA.JPG

by day 68 you can see one of the new stems on the right, and a couple of smaller ones at the front., while the main cola looks almost done...
    large.5e689cabc5362_Day68TA1.JPG

and on day 79 the plant is unrecognisable from the single cola on day 51.....
    large.5e77180f3bdbb_day79TA1.JPG

.... and that cola was lost almost completely to mould FFS!

Here's a close up yesterday (day 88) of one of the new stems on Toofless Alien.... she looks like she'll fill up with nice bud again and make up for that lost couple of ounces!

day 98 and beyond - chop time
  • OK so it has been well over a month since my last pics... it was day 88 and they were looking sticky and close to harvest.
They are all down now, so let's tie up all the loose ends...

Before I go on, I have to say this has been a crap grow... I started them off in Solo cups housed in a large cardboard box with just a 100W LED over them. I had originally planned to repot them and put them in a tent with a 400W LED each at around day 20, but had to delay this because of house inspections and repairs.

The plants were root bound in the tiny Solo cups and repotting them into 25L airpots stimulated the plants to spread out and continue growing their root systems, forcing them to re-veg.
Giving them a drastic change in pot size on day 33 was too late as they were already starting to flower and should have been slowing down on root development and concentrating on making buds.

The Toofless Alien was very small anyway, but well into flowering by the time I repotted her, so what was already blooming became the main cola, and the side shoots revegged and took time to build up new colas.

The main cola was riddled with mould on day 85, so I cut it off and kept the rest going. This was how she looked on day 86, the main cola was in the middle, this is what was left...
    large.5e81fe40d556c_day86TA1.JPG

I cropped the smaller stems (which were perfect) at the front and left there on day 89, and the 3 taller stems at the back remained.

This is one of them closer up, you can see how immature it is for day 86....large.5e81fe441c9ed_day86TA2.JPG

Here's the Toofless Alien again on day 98... those new colas really filled up!
    large.5eb56c9b3be4a_Day98TA.JPG

I eventually chopped her on day 105, she's been dried and I now have a jar of very hard sticky nugs!
Test smokes confirm this gear is just as good as my previous runs, only much less quantity. I didn't weigh it but it's just under 3 ounces.

Next the Blue Amnesia. Here she was on day 98...
    large.5eb56c7b9091c_Day98BA1.JPG

I had taken a couple of side stems off on days 93 and 97 to test smoke, and eventually harvested her completely on day 106.
I lost a little bit of the main cola to mould, but the rest was all good.

Seeing mould in the main cola sent me into panic mode, and the next day (107), I chopped the Cookies.
Here she was on day 98....large.5eb56c8c25f72_Day98Cookie.JPG

Again, I lost a little bit of the main cola to the dreaded mould, but I left 2 stems going because they weren't fully developed, and looked good enough to go on a bit longer.

Here's the Cookies again on day 119...... yes that's right, an Auto on day 119!!!!!!!!!
    large.DSC_5706.JPG

...and she was still chucking out loads of white pistils!

I eventually took this last nibble of Cookies down a few days later.... maybe day 122. Those 2 stems are still drying, but the rest of her is all jarred up for curing, along with the Blue Amnesia and Toofless Alien.... minus a bit for test smokes.... it was all very nice, so I'm looking forward to the cured end product.

Finally the Night Queen..... she was looking good on day 98....
    large.5eb56c97b27d1_Day98NQ.JPG

.... but the next day, I spotted some mould in the main cola.... I cut it off, and it was completely full of mould inside.... but the rest of the plant seemed OK.

Late on day 105, I had finished cropping the Toofless Alien and I checked on the Night Queen.... FFS more mould, so I took her out of the tent and got on with harvesting the others, which is why the Blue Amnesia came down on day 106 and the Cookies on day 107.

On day 108 I salvaged a little bit of bud from the Night Queen, but most of it was lost to mould. We've already smoked what we got out of her... I didn't even jar it, just straight out of the paper bags.

As I mentioned earlier, I haven't weighed any of this crop... I just couldn't be bothered.
By my calculations though, we've already probably smoked about 6 or 7 ounces of bud already, and we have about 8 ounces jarred up.... my lowest yield yet, but understandable seeing as I delayed repotting them until it was way too late to do so.

Lesson learned... don't repot autos once they are flowering, especially such a massive change from a piddly Solo cup to a 25L airpot!

I knew this would be a shitty grow, so I planted 4 more seeds back in early March.... I had them in the same tent, and here they were all crammed in on day 98....

Clockwise from top left, the old plants are as follows.... Blue Amnesia, Toofless Alien, Night Queen and Cookies.

From above you can see the 4 newbies more clearly....
    large.5eb58535eb437_day29Group.JPG
Clockwise from the top, the new plants are as follows.... Colorado Cookies, Daiquiri Lime, Blue Amnesia and Night Queen.... they are at day 29 there, but are currently on day 58 and well into flowering.

As you can see, they are in 5L standard pots..... and I repotted them into 20L airpots on day 39... on 4:20, or as we (correctly) like to say, 20th April.

Yup, repotting on day 39.... when will I learn?

Anyway, despite the late repotting, (this time my excuse is the fact that I had planned to have the 25L airpots from the old grow available much sooner, but things dragged on...) they are doing OK..... well, the Colorado Cookies and the Blue Amnesia are great, the Daquiri Lime is smaller, and a bit on the droopy side, but still flowering OK, while the Night Queen is enormous and has slowed it's flowering down.... I may have to supercrop her main cola cos she's getting pretty tall, and seems to be going through a second stretch before she hopefully fills out.

I'll start a new thread on the new grow soon and show you the current state of affairs... I just wanna end this journal ASAP and forget about it!

Thanks for witnessing this complete and utter shambles. I hope to resume normal service very soon!
