Photoperiod Teetee goes to the 'dark side'

Welcome back! It's day 76, and they are 23 days into flowering.
This is how they look as a group...

...on the right is PAK1, with Des Frans looming over, behind her. PAK2 is on the back left (centre in pic).... you'd see more of her if it wasn't for that bloody great Gorilla in front.

Yes, that's right... the Gorilla has recovered from her illness and has stretched like a bastard.
She is just over 130cm from the top of the coco.....

From an upward angle, you can see those long, long stems...

Wouldn't it be lovely if that filled up with hard buds! I reckon only her top half will do the business, but let's see!
I have a funny feeling she'll need some cane support soon... I had to put one in just there to get the pic.

PAK1 was a slow starter, but she's budding up nicely...

I thought I'd take her out for a bit...

I'm looking forward to seeing some beautiful flowers on her as these next few weeks progress...

Now with the Gorilla and PAK1 out of the tent, here's Des Frans (right) and PAK2 (left) at the back...

The other Purple Afghan Kush, PAK2 is just so big and full of fluffy bud sites...

Here's a closer look...

Des Frans is also a lofty Dame, also topping the 130cm mark, and is just centimetres from the lights.....

I'm hoping those long stems will be Donkey dicks by the end of all this!

You can see just how close she is to the lights! I'm wondering if it's too late to supercrop her and Gorilla...

At the moment the 4x Skyline 400s are on ratchet pulleys, and they are maxed out, so my last resort is to get some small carabiners and use those instead, giving me an extra 10 cm or so.... but it's gonna be tight.

I put those 2x Skyline 100's in this week, keeping them on each side at the back, and having full Skyline 400 coverage coming forwards.
Here's a view from the side window.... my eyes are fucked after taking this shot....

I'm tempted to try and squeeze in the old Helios 2's in there alongside the Skyline 100's.... I dunno, @muddy-ledhydroponic, what do you think.....a couple of Skyline 200 mark2's might look nice in there instead! :eyebrows:

Feed is at EC 1.1 pH 6.3 and they're getting House and Garden Cocos A&B, Roots Excellurator, Multizyme, Bud XL, Bud Candy and a touch of Nitrogen to support the stretch and give a framework for those big fat buds I'm after.

I'm still using rainwater, and we've got a week of thunderstorms, so it's gonna be nicely charged for my Girls in the final push to the finish. Plus there's been loads of Bats around, so all that shit on our roof will be well appreciated by them as well.
Thanks for looking in, have a stony old weekend! :baked:
:slap::slap: Amazing grow @Teetee Your girls recovered nicely. Will PM you about Skyline 200mk2.

i did, 7yr ago, i have 4no photon 189's from the "Mudds"....................... i took 2no 100mm cooler fans out of each leaving 2 in each, to quiet them a bit............. they are still in service 7yr later,....................... not a peep, apart from the odd duff driver.................. the photon's have the "IR & UV" diodes....and the correct % in veg & flower diodes mix............ so many led makers dont even put in !!!!!!!!!!! yet these two are among the most important of radiations you need !!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just finish a DesFran automatic in 78 days to 60% amber proper ripe................. so no loss of output signage yet !!!! crazy, i would buy new light on tick !!! but i still dont need them.................... ALR
Glad you happy with the Photon pro. Photon pro was great led lights, still have customers asking for them.

Mate, that's amazing, the last time I went to Ansterdam (1991), it was all about the Tulip joint.... how times have changed!

I cant wait to see next photos when sprcrop and work has taken place...
Cheers for all your kind words mate, the pics are just below!

Wow Teetee!!! Congrats, really. How are they already so well developed at just 23 days in flower??? This grow is shaping up to be legendary. What nutrients are you using?
Thank you Honeybee.... I use House and Garden all the way, except for Advanced Nutrients' 'Bud Candy' and Growtek 'Cal Max'

tee still runs a couple of 126's........... i keep trying to buy them, he wont sell !!!!!!!!!!!
I had 2x 125's, they were brilliant.... I got my legendary 602g Autoultimate with them!
Alas, I have had to cannibalise one to make the other work, so I have one fully working unit, plus a box of spare parts! One day they will come in useful, so you ain't having them Bro!

@Teetee Awesome looking plants and so tall 130cm, she an auto for that size or photoperiod
Photos are the name of the game Smokey.... but I will defo be doing a few Autos next run, just cos of time issues.

I dunno Iriee.... there's me telling you to supercrop yours, and I went and done the same last night...

... with mixed results....

I stayed up last night to watch the idiots in Claret and Blue just manage to save face against the worst team in the Prem.... worth it for the 3 goal comeback... COYI!!!

After that I decided (at 4am) to supercrop the tallest stems.... I've been supercropping already back when they were in veg, but in bloom is another matter, so thanks everyone for pushing me in the right direction.

I didn't do the PAKs as being 100% Indica, I reckon they will be a bit more height manageable.

I made sure they had a good drink, and waited an hour, then started with the Gorilla, and had a go at the best stem.

I think I have fucked this one, as it was very stiff, and snapped inside - and outside - when I bent her over, dammit......
day 77 Gorilla 4.JPG

I can only hope and pray whith that one.... and it was the best looking stem as well, doh!

I was much more careful with the next stem, these first two are the stems that grew when I topped her. I used some pliers to crimp the stem for about 2 inches then worked at it with my fingers before bending her over....
day 77 Gorilla 3.JPG

I did one more tall stem, and this is the final result with them all held in place.....
day 77 Gorilla 1.JPG

The 'broken' one is the big one in the middle, running left to right, with the 2nd stem behind it, and the 3rd in front centre, coming out towards you.

Another view of Gorilla...
day 77 Gorilla 2.JPG

Des Frans also needed 3 big stems to be supercropped.... I did one about 2 weeks ago, and she responded well.

Here's the first two stems ...

.... and the 3rd.....

.... and all together...

I imagine Gorilla will struggle a little bit after pretty much snapping off the best stem, but you never know!
I've heard it said, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger"... well, this is the test.

They got about 4 hours of light after the supercropping, before lights off.
The lights are back on in about 4 hours, and I will be keen to see how they get on over the next few days.

More soon as they (hopefully) pick up!

TT im sorry to hear that on of the stems didnt bend correctly...I was thinking on this if theres a way to soften up the stem at the bending point to make it easier besides the watering before?

Anyway dont worry much...it will get over it maybe take some time extra but it will get back on im sure friend...

Now i can imagine my self trying to do this....If you with having 10x the experience and still got this snap little bit more then me? I cant even think about what will happen if i have to use this technic....

Theres hope yet then....................."Next Year" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Huddersfield ??.................. you mark my words, next year we will be in the FA Cup Final................. a table booked for 5 !! and a taxi booked for 3pm in London Town !!!!!!!................. better get the flight ticket jar started now bro !!!!!!!!!!!................ you never know !! would be nice "1986" is a long way back now !!!!!!!!!......... 30 + year ago.................. WTF av they been doing for 30yr !!

I think I have fucked this one,

No You Aint bro !!!!!!!!!................. mother nature got way's and means bro !!!

can only hope and pray whith that one

It is a heart break, the first time, when you think fuc....there goes me next smoke !!!!!!!!! untill 5 days later, she is up and steaming of a few ltrs !!!!!......................... moving back into the new light void............. scoffing it up !!

I cant even think about what will happen if i have to use this technic....

White'ty......................... it's a right of passage when you grow in a "2m" tall tent......2m fems & Auto's !!............... better to use the whole room instead, right !!!!!!!!......................... you get another 40cm height that way............... and 300% more lateral room for the "Dames" to spread out into the light, sprawling above...... yey nice........... earlier the better though !!....
