Keeping the driver out of the tent was worth a few degrees in a 4x4. A fair bit more in your tent.

Thanks! Oh, I’ve looked around. I think I’m just gonna go with Mars Hydro’s suggestion, I just wondered if you had other ideas now that you’ve used it a bit.

I’m planning on starting with two plants: a Fast Buds Northern Lights and Vision Seeds White Widow. I thought starting with classics was a good idea. My Fast Buds seeds have been lost in the USPS for the last week, so we’ll see if they show up.

I feel like I’ve got my approach well planned, but like Mike Tyson said: Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

NL was my 1st too, hope you're legal if they lost. That's my biggest fear. You will have issues just gonna happen so roll with them! It's well worth failing when you get it right. Even when you fuck up bad, you still can get killer bud. My BG should be dead, but she's a pro and she ain't letting it effect her! 19.5in is stout as hell at 986ppfd in the center. I kept mine at 22-23in

I'm sure I could back it off, and sure I will need to on some plants. These two seem to be ok with it so hanging there. They had issues at 1st at a higher height, but they were still young. I'd have no issue putting her at 24" not sure bud is any better, unless getting fried.

This thread is just what I needed. I’m about to start my first-ever grow, and I’m using a SP3000 in a 2 x 4 x 6.

What is your light distance now? If you’re planning to germinate your next seeds in pots, have you decided how you’ll start them under the SP?

Highest point is 18.5", no issue so will just leave.

I'll be in a basement that holds really steady around 66 degrees, so I think I may want the heat. And like you said, I'll remove the driver if it comes to it.

Not legal, so it'd be rad if they show up soon! I've had other packages do this in transit with the USPS in the last year, so hopefully it's just a hiccup.

So impressed with how your plants turned around after the struggles. I've gotta believe the light upgrade did have a good bit to do with that. Can't wait to see your next grow, when you've been under it from the start.

Me too, it's either cold because it's cold outside or it's cold because the a/c. Heat is not an issue for me for now. When I move to a room, which will be outside so no central air then it will be an issue. I do have a portable a/c unit in basement that we got free. So it may end up out there in the beginning until I can get a proper climate control in there. This is all down the line waiting on legalization. With NY FINALLY pulling the trigger, it seem to be increasing the temp under my state officials asses some more . We are close, but you know what they said about close... it only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades hahaha.
