Fast Buds Sweet treats from Fastbuds - Orange Sherbet & Bubblegum

:pass:Yes I did grow some photo Banner's in plastic 2 gallon pots and it worked well. I had catch trays for them and bottom fed them and they rocked. The trays hold about 16 ounces of liquid. I just dropped 12 photo seeds and may grow them out in two's. But ya the 2 gallons worked well the issue would be if the plants are too tall and they start tipping over. The Banner's that I grew were under two feet tall and the smoke is/was great without tipping problems. :shooty:
Cool, that's good to hear. Have to see what beans I can get between now and then. If I can get the new Fast Buds strains I will do that. So, just depends but smaller allows me to do more variety, and I'm always down for that.

I finally got my hands on some Purple Urkle!!! Pyramid seeds version not sure if its different form what ive heard about, but it will do. Got some Watermelon Zkittlez too, Pyramid is giving bonus pack 2 for 5 and 1 for 3. So I got extra 3 beans which is always appreciated. Although their packaging sucks! Going to have to put in a extra seed pak if I have 1. This may be next grow just got my prepaid cc looking for the new Fast Buds 1st. I think either way back the 2gal pot for a grow. See what kinda 420 deals @Rain Science has if any on some 2gal pots. Love all my other 1s, but no 2gal yet. Stay lifted

Day 53

We are back on track I think with a flush of both ladies. The both received a gallon last night with bloom nutrients. The BG is ahead for now which shocks me, but may have stressed the OS more cant remember which had the more severe damage. I will have a better harvest than I 1st thought, ladies have bounced back from a lot. The BG looks like it will be a absolute frost monster. She has a blurry look which is awesome for rosin normally. You can see frost on leaves that is spilling everywhere. She will have plenty of time as she will have to wait for the OS to finish.

There are a lot of bud sites underneath her. They're getting enough light to grow for now, but I will do some trimming to let more light in soon. I wanted to use up some leaves that are damaged while the are still usable. Then they will be removed 1st when they're done. Wont be long for some so I just left for now. I've taken a bit already and want to let her recover some 1st I only take damaged leaves, or if blocking a bud. I tuck if I can but at some point that cause clusters of leaves that interfere with airflow. Now just clipping leaves when needed and watching the grass grow so to speak. Stay lifted

@Mcdee They look good. I have been experimenting with not defoliating except for airflow when needed. I am pretty darn sure that defoliating is Bro-science. My latest 2 crops had very good bottom nugs without ever seeing the light. Point in case:

Senor Green, I was told that you use those tomato cages. Why and how do you use them? As for bottom branches on my last grow of purple lemonade they got long and has some nice buds. No topping, no training and only pulling ugly leaves. Got a bit stunted early on, but still got 2.5 oz in bud and 100 gm wet of trim and larf. Good light (Niemi 130w 288 Rspec QB) , okay soil (black bag Miracle Grow organic) and no tent.

I made a concrete anchor footing on tomato cages. The 6" rockwool cubes I grow in fit on the bottom. This gives good support on plants up to about 4 feet tall. It is easy to tie the plant to if needed and even add 6' bamboo sticks to extent the height. These allow me to move a plant quite easily.

I try to walk the line between good and bad with defoliation. I'm in new territory with my addition of the SP-3000. Now I have better above I will have better below. So may not be as necessary as it use to be. It will take a few grows till I understand what this light will do constantly in my tent. I try to leave everything I can when I do breakout the scissors.

It does penetrate pretty well.
