"waft" Hehehe ... Don't you just love that "warm .... damp .... musky smell of locked up girls in the growroom!" :gary:

NOTHING suspicious sounding about THAT!!! :crying: :crying: :crying:

Hey Bloo:bighug::pass:

You tent is looking lovely, props to you!:cheers:
At this stage no point in going to crazy with defoliation.
If you wanted to do a light defoliation, only take the "largest" fan leaves that are shading developing buds in the top third of each branch.
Popcorn buds aren't really going to do much in the final 3 weeks.
A bit of lollypopping at the lowest levels will improve air flow, where there is no light.

Your plants don't look like they are pressing too much again tent walls and as long as you have a fan moving air you should be fine, where mold is concerned.
Cold walls are the worst thing for mold (made of brick & plaster) due to the fact that when lights go out, ambient moisture condensates on to it, as the air is warm and moist and the brick/masonry walls are cold, this is when plants pressed against the cold walls could get you into trouble.
With your level of plant density and with low mass tent walls, you should be ok and have minimal condensation if any.

"Schwazzing" an extreme defoliation technique developed by grow company "Three a Light".
Their "Schwazzing" method can produce 3Lb's of dried bud per 1000W light, where most other commercial growers will get 1Lb's per 1000W light.
I will be researching "Schwazzing" as much as I can and then compiling the data and making a thread, detail this method. The "Three a Light" book looks really nice but retails at $300/£235, which is too rich for most of us. I do plan to save my pennies and buy it, so I can fully understand this grow technique.
there are a few places such as "Royal queen Seeds" and "Grow Weed Easy" that have articles on "Schwazzing" but when I looked on "ICMag" a place where I routinely check for the latest advancements on cannabis techniques and grow styles, there was nothing, not a single jot.
This in of itself is very unusual and means we are on the curve with this grow style and are ahead of a number of grow forums, if i can get the info posted and members talking about it and researching it.
Back when AFN first started, being ahead of the curve was a commonplace thing here, breaking new ground with auto's and LED lights, when the "Photoperiod HID heads" would slag off such advancements with bitter bile and vitriol but we stood our ground and proved them wrong!
This grow style could prove to be a great advancement, if we can produce more bud under the same amount of light that we currently use.
Once I get it down to pat, I can then share further insights to this method.

Af for foliar feeding you are too far into flower, to do this without causing possible mold problems and affecting the taste of the buds. ( I saw mention of foliar feeding earlier in the thread but didn't have time to go back far enough to get the full details of the question, pertaining to this. So apologies if this info, isn't pertinent in the case)!
Boom boom spray is an awesome product and I use it in veg mode with great effect.
However in countries where it is not possible to buy it, use a foliar feed with made of seaweed/kelp, Such as Biobizz Grow or Biobizz Fish mix or any liquid Seaweed fertilizer mixed with some "calmag with added aminos" etc such as "Advanced Nutrients - Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra", will make your plant pop in veg . (Always follow application rates).
You can also foliar feed "Humic Acid" for improved absorption of nutrients and minerals.
Dutch Pro's "Leaf Green" increases the rate of photosynthesis (needs application 3 hour before lights on) and gives you nice green plants and the Optic foliar range of foliar sprays also work a treat !

Your plants look beautiful!!:smoking::d5:

Thanks Arty!! And thanks for the heads up on Schwazzing .. I was reading the reports this morning and watching the videos!! :D

He seems like a very decent chap! We should see if we can get him over here for a Q&A ..... Remember all the debate a few years ago about how to NOT defoliate autos .... (and the drama it brought!) ... They'd have shit fit if they saw this :rofl: :rofl:

It seems strain dependant on Photoperiods, and i wouldn't wanna be the on to "test" it out on my one and only plant hahaha ... but i can definately see people trying this technique! Sounds like organics would be the way for this to work ... I imagine trying to compensate for the sudden lack of available micronutes would be a nightmare to control in hydro!! ...Lots of bene teas etc!

Thanks for the visit and compliments ^_^ ...If only ALL my autos turned out like this too :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

:bighug:

Hey Ho Waira-Bo!

You think i should? Defoliate more i mean ... I was thinking that i'll start plucking leaves to ease the harvest when the buds fatten up some more! Didn't wanna stress it out at this stage! I'm thinking it will reduce the mold chances ... and what about those buds that are pressed against the tent doors and back wall ... keep em and thake my chances ...or let em go *snip!* ?

Yeah i've been using that Biosys powder that Med put me on to (a bene tea powder thats mixed with water ... or in my case, water and bioPK ... doubling up!).
I do like the mildness of organics ... a lot less stressful than the EC PH dance i used to endure when i grew with coco.

Heheh - A very fine compliment from one of AFNs best :D ... :bighug: .. It's mainly the light and autopot that do the work .. then it's all down to the wonderful advice i recieve here! :thumbsup:

Here's a photo from this morning! ^_^ (Still green! :D )

And...they are Based in Colorado...hmmm...:pass:..could be neighbours....for the AFN US based HQ....:biggrin:

hmmm....I already knocked it into RP's for Hobbsey....

If it Does..the simple fact is..we'll all be growing like that next season...:watering:
