Thank you so much for the badges, that's awesome

When she was growing, I could definitely smell the lemon.. She lost her smell during drying but after a week or so curing now smells citrus and sweet.. With a bit more time hoping that will get stronger :joy:

Smell is still not as strong as I'd like it to be.. I guess my curing will get better with practice. Anyways, here's some dry shots of some nugs :yay:

Hopefully this will make your Monday a little easier :headbang:

:smoker1:--- hard to say why sometimes, when the aromas seem to just disappear for no obvious reason,... citrus terpenes are heavier molecular weight types I think, and so should resist volatilizing more than lighter ones,... I can't recall where I saw it, but a study done of terpene content from harvest to dry showed huge amounts of terp' losses even under prime conditions,... it doesn't take much, some terp's start to vape' away starting as low as 70F,... strawberry aromatics are super fragile, heat just kills it,... I have no dry-room/tent, it's all ambient T and RH% more or less on a mesh rack,... I shoot for 68-72F, and 55% or lower RH%... ideal is closer to high 60's and 40% RH,..cool evap' aided by the low RH%.... of course, too low RH% is a potential disaster too! if that starts to show, I put the buds into a paper bag which creates a buffer zone of higher RH% in the bag vs outside,...
 fantastic dry porn shots Blanchie! White background is especially difficult to work with,... her colors just pop out! .....best I can do with my beater camera is dark matte background and flash/zoom balancing act.....

Ok.. My RH is sitting around 65% for the later part of the plant and the top cola which I cut earlier is around 58%.. I have ordered some bovida packs 62% if I need them.

Glad you like the pics.. You can avoid using flash if you have a tripod if shooting in low light.. That way you get a more natural image without any blur
