Strange EC behavior. Dont know where to post. Help!

Thanks guys! I think youre right, so far the ph has stayed at 5.8 with new RO water and membrane replaced. Water nows back to around 5ppm with the new membrane. I think unlike their sensi line, AN 3 part MGB is more sensitive with the water ppms. So far the ph stays at 5.8 and the plants just keep growing like nothing happened. Hopefully i can keep the size of the plants down this time lol. I struggle too much with the plants hitting the lights most of the time.
Hope this solves it for you!
A little confusing is that because of the new membrane you new RO water will probably contain less "bi-carbonates to stabilize pH levels" if I were to guess. But as I stated I am an amateur and I don't know what the contents of your tap water are.. And I have no experience with Advanced Nutrients so whatever.. :coffee2:

From what I understand and my experience in hydro. AN base nutes have chelates that act like a buffer so nutrients stay more available in different ph ranges and keeps the ph stable for a week. So far i like the results because my last 3 grows i havent had to worry about checking ph 3 times a day. Now i check it just once a day sometimes even once a week when im too busy. Hell in the last grow the ph would go up to 6.6 and in an hour it would be back in 6.0 and the plants didnt care at all. So i think the buffers they put dont like those bi-carbonates.

@Wian im an idiot when it comes to soil, so we all have our own things that we just develop our own styles lol. I have had many of friends that make they’re own supersoil and just water with nothing but tap water during most of their grow so every style has its own learning curve
