Had the 250w hps in there, bad idea temps of near 40© a 100w would probably work tho,

Was wondering about that when u said 250w hps.. :smoking:

Ok since I was asked for it here we go! Anyone riding the cheap train like I do then here’s a cheap way to get killer closeups! If u don’t have a $600+ macro camera then a $42 wifi scope for your phone or ipad and a $25 microphone stand to hold it steady will get u some bomb closeups for reading trichs! Helps make timing the harvest a breeze! :d5:

Ok, here is a sample of my stonergenuity - more DIY addiction than ingenuity perhaps, but here we go anyway, with apologies if this stuff does not really fit.

Some of you already know that I am into this stuff. Can't seem to help myself. The first question is always "how can I make one?" The next is, "did I save enough junk to build it free?"

1. My 12 ton press, made largely from steel and aluminum scrap I had "in stock";

:biggrin: . Temperature is controlled by an Inkbird PID controller - temperature range is about +/- 2C :biggrin:.

And, it works rather well:

#2. My main LED lights:

The base is aluminum scrap that I had "in stock", and all the wire was in the scrap wire bin. You might get the idea that I have squirrel tendencies, and my dearest would agree with you. :biggrin:

And the par map that they produce at 48 inches in my 2x4 (also DIY of course, but no handy pics):

Did I mention that this is at 48"? In addition to my squirrel tendencies, I have been accused of overkill when I design stuff.

3. My pseudo constant current CS generator:

Enough. You get the idea. :biggrin:
