I put a tap on the autotank, did a four hour leak test, all good :
Just got to find a good way of linking the feeder tube to the tap so that it's easily removable, probably just use a rubber o-ring if i can find a tight enough fit.
I've removed the crossbar and hung the filter and light using twine (old school!) :
I now have 6 inches more vertical height than the box did originally due to mods, i hope it gets used
The outdoor AKR seems to have survived the transplant and is enjoying the pleasant weather here in (currently!) sunny England, though it is a bit windy :
The hydro AKR seed has jsut now sunk so i will put her in damp paper towels, in an airtight container in a warm place so she gets her taproot going.
She should be ready for the riot cubes tomorrow, here goes take 2 on the hydro!
Looks good steely, weather here in blighty is a bit odd, red hot outside but I can't get the tent over 24c I'm trying an AKR soon under led so subbed and looking forwards to seeing it grow.
Nice to know you can trust the seller to get it fixed too.
Cheers Mr Bagginses ;+} Ye my place is sometimes colder inside, no warm air coming in. I'll check out your thread in a bit.
Cheers Gman Will swing by yours in a sec too!
The outdoor girl is still doing fine but i took her indoors last night due to weather report - which turned out to be false, it didn't hit 7 degrees C last night at all!
The hydro AKR sprung a tail so she is now in a riot root cube that was dipped in pH 5.8 water, all in a tupperware box until she pops up.
Looking forward to getting it right this time with no dramas!
Tis the best decision im reckoning... dont wanna spend the whole of your very ever first beginning hydro grow thinkin what if... and an outdoor grow t boot... win win :-D
