Indoor Stealth Wardrobe Grow Diary - Alex10

Hey guys,
I've started putting together a stealth(ish) wardrobe.

This is a sketchup of what it will eventually be:

I plan to have this going in a rotation, starting off on the top shelf, going onto increasing size of cfl's, then the HPS to finish off. if all works out i plan to harvest and plant a plant every 1-2 weeks :smoke:
I started off about a month ago with a few cfl's and some bag-seed plants (which turned out to be autos?aha) to test the area out. all seems good, doesn't get too hot or cold in there, and very little light escapes.

I went to the hydro shop yesterday and picked up a 250w Powerplant HPS bulb & ballast, 5" Cooltube and alot of mylar.


As you have probably noticed I don't have an extractor fan, has to wait 'till pay day, so i hung up a desk fan blowing through the cooltube for the next few days, which does a surprisingly good job at keeping it cool. stays at between 25-28c!

With lights off at night the temp drops to around 17-18c sometimes as low as 10, should i worry about this, or will the odd cold winter night be ok?

Next on the list is:
Extractor and intake fans (not using pc fans like pic sugests)
4-5 Cfl's ranging from 35w to 250w
Ducting
Mi5, Automaria, Lowryder diesel and a few others once i can make my mind up.

sounds like a pretty sound plan mate! :thumbs: :clap: I see you have a little 3d desing in you too... :thumbs:

Might get a bathking BFQ90 fan for your cab... plenty of air to cool it... cheap, and quiet as hell.

same fan I use in my grow... which is 160 Cu ft space with 440 hps, 375 CFL, 52 UVB, and 160 Reg fluors

Update

UPDATE!
Hey guys,
The wardrobe is all most done, just need a few Cfl's and an extraction fan (thanks for the link JM)

5 x Mi5 seeds are now above ground and doing well

Some of them looked a little pale green/yellow this morning :/
the soil looked a little dry so I gave them a little plain filtered water,
seems to be back to normal now, was using a few drops of Canna Start with every other watering, was probably too eager with the stuff.

And a nice surprise i noticed earlier

this is an Mi5 seed that i thought i washed away into the bottom of an 11L pot
was digging away for agess looking for the fucker when i just gave up and planted another, 4/5 days later she surfaced!

looking a little stretched.



Uh Oh! dropped 2 pots the other day :cry: 1 big bud#2 and 1 big bud x NL
covered them abit deeper in soil, few days later and all is good!

Here's a little seedling light i fashioned,
made of 3 cfl's. and a 15w full spectrum reptile bulb, wasn't sure on it but the plants seem to like it.
