Update 8/10/11

Ok havnt updated since i put the S60s into the soil well 3 out of 3 germed and popped was sent 11 in a pack of 10 so im happy so far haha. 1of 3 died damping off so, i germed a lone wolf RRF and it poked its head up yesterday so i tiered that bitch in a 3 gal i still have my AKR going forthe party cup comp shes getting big shes 9 days old. Now on to the s60s first off i believe one of them, the first one to pop up, has topped itself Muwhaha. Check it out the other one has yet to sprout new growth and they poked above soil hours apart, tell me what you think but looks kind deformed.haha idk whats up with these but there like that crowd of mutants living under the streets in the sewers on futurama

What's the white powder on the leaves? I wouldn't worry about the deformity until the plant goes bad on you. It could've been a number of things, even breaking the shell as the seed sprouts can cause some leaf deformity if the shell is extremely hard. All of your leaves show either heat or moisture stress (that tacoing upwards thing...) how frequently do you water? How are you determining when to rewater?

thats not powder my friend lol i think thats the resin or trichs or something they are only like a week old and i havnt been misting theres alot of air movement haha

Too early for trichomes, far too early... Wind burn usually doesn't cause leaves to taco upwards as it has to be harsh and cause the leaves to almost rattle. So if it's not the heat, it may be moisture stress that's causing the leaves to taco upwards like that.

I donno, the white powdery looking dots can be a number of things. Does it just rub off? How's the humidity in the box?

Too early for trichomes, far too early...

I was just getting ready to comment on this. That is early resin production going on over there, i have it on 3 of my betties that are in the cup comp. I have seen this several times,its not an indicator of sex, but this plant is a good option for breeding......

If this is female and you choose to do that, you need to watch that leaf deformity going on there, if it stops no biggie, shes trying to figure her self out.

EDIT: if i wasn't pleased with the ones that i have over here with that id cut a leaf and scope it for you. Its neat stuff, but i am rolling with them so i hope i at least get a M/F in the set of three.
