Little CFL in the Evening

Good photos, your Sour Crack is looking healthy. They grow exponentially the first weeks so a few more days makes
a big difference in size. Any sign of Pistils yet?

How do you like the Superroots Airpots? I think they are a better choice for your 3 liter grow because they evaporator water slower than the fabric Smartpots and they are easier to move and rotate without disturbing the soil & roots. BUT Superroots Airpots are harder to keep clean, they dribble dirt out the little holes and the fan blows it around my grow room. For my next grow I might use 5 Gallon fabric pots, they are available in Tan color, I like that.

Thank You! No Pistols Right now good sign maybe she get litte bigger than i thought.. I love the Airpots it is important to push the Soil inside the holes not only Put the Soil in the Pots you need to push the Soil harder all Inside.... I dont have a Fan but i belive you need to push harder :)

Day 24 11 inches tall, lush growth, and throwing lots of Pistils. She has some minor leaf cupping, probably from wet roots after being watered until runoff, that is OK, she won't need watered for a few days. There is some barely visible damage from Calcium deficiency on two older leaves, probably from when I had the HS1 LED too close at 20 centimeter.

She could be growing twice as fast and I would still be impatient.

Gimme the sugar!

Day 28 14" tall, and drinking like a fish, how can this midget plant drink so much? I mixed the food and Silicon to 1000 PPM and watered until run off, 2.25 liters. 3 days later the soil was almost dry, that is .75 liters per per day. I am glad she is in a 5 gallon container!

I want to bend the main stalk down so I can move the LED closer, thinking about supercropping. The middle leaves are getting 50% less light than the top leaves, and the bottom leaves are getting 75% less, barely enough to be useful.

She has two issues: leave curl and calcium deficiency.

Mr TaNg helped me recognize that my fan was too close, drying the leaves, causing the leaf curl.

I think the calcium deficency was caused by stress from the LED intensity, not deficiency in the nutes. I will stick to the Keep It Super Simple plan: no calmag & no supplements. She will get only 1000 PPM of tomato food and silicon until harvest.

Lets see what happens during bloom...

Damn. I never thought of that. So many things to remember, and me with short term memory loss.

Plants are looking good! I had to go back to page one and make sure this was the thread I thought it was. Looks like simple is awesome so far!

Yes, it is a tremendous help to be able to be able to follow in the footsteps of experienced growers on AFN. I just couldn't figure it out by myself. I was looking for complicated reasons and missing the obvious.

My Sour Crack is certainly flowering, and she should be doing better now that I have adjusted the light and circulation, but is weak tomato food enough to make fat buds?
