You and me both.
Eating those washed sugar leaves had me tripping so high that I was crying, that was a first.
The transition from crappy bag weed to home grown good stuff... is not to be taken lightly.

I swear the people selling the bag weed were shaking off half the trichomes first, that is just greedy.

This always puts me off making edibles with my green.

I simply have no idea what amount to use, there's a fine line between the, giggling school girl high that I like, and the, lying on the couch looking like Steven Hawking, wondering when the self induced whitey from hell is going to end, experience...


There needs to be a guide to this, a recipe or something.

Just for giggles, I stopped by the local chemistry shop to buy filters to clean the liquid from my Alcohol wash.
The 0.2 micron filters blue filters units are used with a syringe like this:

The filter unit fits snugly over the end of the syringe. And you pull the plunger back drawing the liquid through the filter and into the syringe. Which takes about 10 min!!!

The resistance is a bitch and gets worse as the filters clog up. One filter was good for about 50ml before fully clogged.

Took me an hour to filter 200 ml.
Amusing to do once for a laugh, but completely impractical for regular use.

Sorry, I was unclear.
I was filtering the 50% vodka after it was used to dissolve the THC off dried sugar leaves.

That 0.02 micron filter is very fine. It is catching 99% of bacteria, spores, dust... every little particle.
I did it for fun and to test in case I ever want to filter weed contaminated with Grey Mold. (probably not)

Another HUGE benefit of growing my own.... why try to save bad buds, I can grow lots more in 2 months!

Interesting idea, but can those filters handle alcohol?
Water filters often have activated carbon to absorb bad taste form the water, that would also absorb the yummy non-polar chemicals including THC:

I've used Scott's Hyponex from Walmart with good results. Lowe's and Home Depot has better soil than Walmart

We're I live at Lowe's has nothing but miracle grow and home depot has Kellogg's but don't know how good that is.T hey also have plenty of miracle grow they have some coir but expensive for little bit and not ph,d. Durning my looking for stuff I found on my search's Lowe's use to sell pro mix and a few nice nutes till 3 years ago now they will not stock in my location cannot have delivered to the store but can have shipped to yourself who can afford that shipping cost.So I'm now a member of Amazon prime boy has it payed for its self for this set up and all the fixings!
