I have a 1/2 ounce of HBSS sugar leaves that are brittle dry. Prefer to bake them to decarb but too smelly.
So I just put the leaves in a coffee filter, the coffee filter in the glass and freeze it over night:

The 50% vodka was chilled over night in the freezer, pour in the glass. Let it sit in the freezer for 1 hour before straining:

It looks like light apple juice, or champagne gone flat.

I used the drained sugar leaves in the blender for a smoothie, glug, gulg.
.... 4 hours later I am coming back to earth. What a trippy edible HBSS trip.
That was my highest and longest flight on Mephisto THC

Now I need a brave friend to test the alcohol wash... not me!

Just having fun with simple extraction, I like vaping more than edibles or booze.
The sugar leaves were dried separately and had no sign of mold, they were fine.
I could let the alcohol evaporate leaving just the oil, but oil is such a sticky mess....

Could try the Chilled Alcohol Wash with some slightly moldy buds, then filter with a 0.2 micro filter to catch any gray mold spores. I still need a volunteer, which is awkward since nobody knows I grow weed.

I would not try this with buds showing any sign of white mold, Aspergillus fumigatus and Aspergillus flavus. Those molds make aflatoxins that damage the central nervous system and liver. Mold can be filtered out, but that doesn’t remove aflatoxins. Aflatoxins are a cumulative poison and carcinogen... scares the hell out of me.

Not yet, still have a pretty low tolerance.
One bowl, 0.2 grams lasts me 3 separate highs, that is 6+ hours.
Mephisto buds are already is plenty strong enough, I don't want to spend the whole day looking for my house keys.

You and me both.
Eating those washed sugar leaves had me tripping so high that I was crying, that was a first.
The transition from crappy bag weed to home grown good stuff... is not to be taken lightly.

I swear the people selling the bag weed were shaking off half the trichomes first, that is just greedy.
