Day 67 showing about 1% amber trichomes, no bubblegum smell yet. I wonder if she was traumatized from the nute burn that delayed flowering, and the sudden change to CFL lights, and the stem crushing for canopy shaping...3 times.

12 colas tops like this in the upper canopy, more in the middle. Maybe the supercropping helped.

Sorry, I can't get her out of my little Grow room. I think I am the only person dumb enough to buy a closet with sliding doors for a grow room, duh! Anyhow photos can be deceiving, I like her very much but she is not a record breaker in quality or quantity.

Here she is AFTER getting the tops snipped off 11 of her colas. (one cola has no amber trichomes yet)

Day 71 off with their heads! Inspected all the upper colas today. A few over 10% amber so I chopped the tops off 11 ripe colas:

It looks like a lot, but after a close trim the wet weight from 11 cola tops was 80g. They are bagged and drying.
It will be fun to compare vaping overripe cola tops against the lower buds.
Can't wait to chop the rest of the buds.

She isn't as good as she looks, but I wouldn't trade her for a pound of bag weed. There is something special about growing your own, knowing exactly how she was cared for: no cat hair, dog fur, dust, debris, second hand smoke, chemicals, or additives.
Mephisto has spoiled me, I can never go back to bag weed.

What do you check the trichs with? I've never seen Amber trichs with that many white hairs left. Anyway congrats it's a nice plant!

I tried two different hand held microscopes and a magnifing glass, but the easiest way for me is to take a sharp photo with my phone and magnify the photo. I see lots of Amber on the sugar leaves, but none on the Calyces.

I agree with you, lots of white pistils. The plant had a rough life, maybe that messed up its flower cycle. It never did smell like bubble gum. I'll grow it better next time.
