These girls are about 36 days old. Had a stunt early on due to a power outage. I haven’t grown in about 8 years or more. Wondering if I should expect a decent harvest at this size and if they’re appropriate sized for their age. (Assuming all else goes well) each has their own 1000w led plus the back 3 have 2 300w for side lighting. An nutes coco medium. No deficiencies or overdoses. Water ro and bubbled 69 degrees fed at around 5.9 ph. Room temp 82-85 humidity 42-45%. Drinking over a liter a day each and counting. 2 ml/l grow a and b plus 1ml/l rhino skin, budcandy, sensizym, b52 and Calmag slightly over 1ml/l. Waiting for stretch to end before switching to flower nutes.

Advice/opinions/constructive criticism welcome.

I don't quite understand the lighting. No chance you have thousands of watts of LEDs. A 4x4 tent only needs like 400-500w of legit LEDs. With 3500w of power you would cook everything in the room, and by running a $120 power bill every month. There is definitely an issue with that one pic, looks almost like it's wilting but it could also be over watered. The latter being much worse. I think you would do well to get a real LED instead of a gimmick type thing that says it's 1000w. That's A LOT of power. You should see how insane a good Citizen COB or Samsung diodes in a quantum board can get with just 50w. Its like the sun. You can grow a PIG under a single 50w COB @ 3500°K with Mean Well power. What spectrum are those lights?

They’re 1000w equivalents I checked the output at about 180 actual. The room is about 10x10. I’ve heard of cobs but I’m not too handy with assembling electronics. So unless there is one I could buy preassembled I doubt I could swing it. Unless I commission someone to do it. I have both bloom and veg switches going currently so the spectrum is 430, 660 and 740 nm. Any suggestions on light upgrades for the future? I’m running more plants next time at least 8-10. And the power bill is of no concern that I can afford and I’ve always had high power bills.

Yeah they look sound for 35 days mate. I've grown them a few times but in full hydro. Nice day time smoke.
The thing with your leds though mate is you gotta go by the draw wattage, the 180w. The equivalent nonsense is unfortunately exactly that. If it's 180w it's the equivalent of a 180w hps. You want around 50w per square foot. Use more if you can but just watch for signs of stress. 70w per sqf is as far as I've managed to go without foxtailing the shit out my plants.

Ok that makes total sense then so I’ll def be upgrading next grow and possibly use these for supplemental or give some away. I’ll finish these out and hope for a 200 gram per plant harvest. Any suggestion for lights I heard/ seen a lot about the mars hydro led.

There is no equivalent from X to LEDs. And a given wattage of proper good lights absolutely destroys old school HID lights. Wiring up COBs for example is literally two wires. It's all DC power, one is + (red) and the other is - (black). You have to make a complete circuit, and the COB bridges the gap. Most people running multiple COBs are doing it in a big series circuit, where it's a giant circle. The positive output + off the driver goes into [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] COB positive. The negative side of the COB goes into the next COB, [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] positive and so on. Until it goes back to the driver. You can run three or four 50v COBs in a line like that off a single Mean Well HLG-240-1050 driver. The circuit depends on all 3 or 4 working, so there is zero chance of thermal runaway. Don't be scared, it is simple. Everything is laid out nowadays, and you can use Wago connectors to make everything nice and pretty. We have had amazing results with Citizen 1818s 90CRI @ 3500°K, running about 52w each. There is a nice chart online that shows what lights work with what drivers. The truth about LEDs is a little murky. They are amazing when done right, but they are also a quick cash grab from shady people....it's up to you to weed out the bad. The Autocobs are based on Mean Well drivers with Citi 1812 COBs on Mecha heatsinks, and are plug and play if you wanna go that route. These things are pretty much grade school wiring though, so don't be discouraged....it's SIMPLE.

We have done a few DP strains and they seem to have multiple personalities. One is quick and shows the Ruderalis pheno, one is average and much better, and the 3rd is the monster that eats up your space and takes 4 months. Give Mephisto a shot for some killer super tight beans that finish quick. Another little tip is not to count anything until it's in your hands....that can lead to some frustrating nights. Getting 7 ounces off a single plant is great, but don't count on it with so far left to go. When the DP strains get big and show their true colors, you can get double that....but don't count chickens that aren't hatched. Have fun and grab some Phistos.
