Indoor Short Stuff Testers

Oh BTW.... So Onyx was the big tall plants in the back. The smaller one over filled a one gallon glass jar. I dont know what my exact weights are since ive smoked or gave away to friends and fam to try. But definetly 22-24 zips easy.

I have pics of the onyx in the one gallon jar with 4 standard size jars full of the other onyx. Crazy yields on the onyx. I mean insane. I would say onyx coverd almost half of the yield. Nice structured Huge buds. ...

Ahhh !!! Ive said to much as it is.... Ill tell all with the smoke reports starting tonight

Nice results there dude, journals like this will really help bring back short stuffs rep. The onxy sounds like a real winner. Look forward to the smoke reports
:slap: Owe you a slap dude need to spread the love

Slaparoonie to you, GB, I definitely agree w/ @sanguine , it's cool to see things getting revamped and improved over at Short Stuff, they've got such a good catalogue of strains

great grow, great report and those jars look awesome! top grow from the beast!

Ok guys, so sorry for the super long delay.

I am in the middle of a very small commercial grow with some friends. Not money commercial, just lots of plants and lights so we all have plenty of smoke and variety. So that's been occupying my time.

So I promised smoke reports on all these testers so here's goes:

Onyx- big yield, huge yield, better bud structure, bag appeal and smell then the rrf or the mi5. She was the better of all three strains. That being said, I smoke joint after blunt after bongs and bowels, even made some extracts with onyx, and never once caught a decent buzz. Not once.

I honestly believe that short stuff should do away with all these older autos from stitch and move forward, keep up with the times. The mephistos, the Dutch passions, these other autos blow these out the water by far. Zero potency. An no one at short stuff is smoking this shit as there personal head stash, these are just blah plants with an auto trait, so all the newbie growers flock to them.
It's a dam shame half these breeders putting garbage out strickly for money. If I sold seeds, I would sell no one nothing if I wouldn't smoke it, but that's because I'm driven by passion, not money.

All due respect to jim, been nothing but a gentlemen with me and even offered to send more free testers, maybe the new strains are good but Def not the older ones, not even close, huge disappointment and Acually sealed the deal for me and autos. Although there are decent autos out there it's not worth the search, electricity, just to have a couple pounds of trash smoke. Makes me depressed and I had to buy weed on the street until my photoperiod grow was done. Once I had some good smoke again it was like a huge breath of fresh air.

Hope the testers of the new strains have a much better experience then I did, and to all other breeders, get your dam acts together. You guys have fucked the gene pool up. It's a epidemic all the trash "loud" weed out here.

So that's the onyx smoke report, should I do the other strains?? Didn't think so. And onyx is advertised as short stuff most thoroughly worked strain.

A disappointing review but I know we all appreciate the honest evaluation.

There's definitely a lot of 1st/2nd geneneration strains out there still, and would have guessed they are nowhere near what Mephisto and Dutch Passion are doing these days. They're definitely the tops in autos at this time.

EXACTLY!!!! Gotta adapt in business or you will fall off at some point.

Look,if anyone reads threw this log they will notice I have nothing but praise the whole time, beautiful pictures and awesome yield, even got nomed for BOM in oct But it just don't get me or my buddies high. I do have very very high tolerence, but my buddies don't grow so don't smoke nearly as me and were still unhappy with all 3 strains. Oh well. No more surprises for me, no more testing shit, just gonna stick with what I know works for me.
Got some blue magoo, critical kush, blue cheese and c99 all photoperiod and all flowering out now.

I'm sure the next step in autos is taking these current generation of stock and breeding them with new photoperiods and then stabilizing them and getting them to the marketplace. I think that is what gets people excited about the new strain releases that are happening lately with late-generation autos being crossed with present day elites.

I haven't tried any of the newer strains from Short Stuff's boutique line yet but that Grapefruit and Tha Shiznit sound great

I'm looking forward to the next innovation that every company is working on releasing this year but I still have that Grapefruit on my list. :pass:
