Great photos of the plants, those are some beautiful buds. That 5a definitely has some coloration.

Ok guys I know I know, I'm way behind on this thread and I apologize.
This will be the final update on all three strains. This will be detailed and will consist of a few post. One for each strain. First!!! Let me get straight to the good part since I've left everyone hanging for awhile.
Let me just say this. HUGE Improvement on the short stuff selections. Concerns from growers in the past have been delt with and I respect Jim and his crew business wise for overcoming the bumps in the road with ease. Respect to you guys. These plants are really good for a newer grower to throw seeds in the dirt and get the feel for how mj grows. There is nothing difficult about there growth.
So here is the reveal of the mystery short stuff testers:

#5 - Onyx
#6 - Russian Rocket Fuel
I have dedicated my weekend to wrap this journal up for you guys so I can concentrate on current projects. I will do a final grow and smoke report on each individually. But for now I will say this. The short stuff grow was a success
This test showed improvement from our last test in 2014 dramatically. For example, the first round of test I did the rrf. I did not even recognize the growth structure because the first test they never auto flowered. This test go round showed good viber absolutely zero hermaphrodites. Finished in time. I only have one plant I am disappointed in and it's one of the rrf. Lacked in all categories. The other rrf is on a whole different level in potency. I do have to say this tho. That plant was on the very outer edge and received much less light then the rest. So now I have 15 jars full curing. Plus my personal stash I puff on here and there while they cure.
