Three Seedsman northern lights autos in two tents. Two in 3 gallon air pots one in a 5 gallon air pot. The two 3 gallon plants are in a 2X4X7ft tent with two King plus 1200w leds on a 18/6 cycle. Two 6 inch clip-on fans for circulation and a 6 inch duct booster fan and carbon filter for filtration. The other tent is a 3X3X6ft tent with a 5 gallon air pot and a King 1500w cob and two 4ft t5's 18/6 cycle, one 6 inch clip-on fan and a 6 inch booster fan and carbon filter. I use Fox Farm trio and several bushdoctor products for nutes also use super thrive and Advance cal/mag additive. The plants in three gallon air pots are about 4 weeks (25 days) and the five gallon plant (last two pics) is about three weeks (19 days). Soil is Black gold organic potting soil with 2/3 cup of lime in the three gallon pots and 1 cup in the other.

Almost 5 weeks for the plants in 3 gallon airpots and 4 weeks for the 5 gallon pot (first 4 pics) in my other tent. The 3 gallon pots are 14 and 17 inches and the 5 gallon plant is 18 inches. All look healthy but the shortest will no doubt be the runt of the litter. Funny thing is the shortest 3 gallon plant was first out of the ground and was doing fine than slowed last few days while the other was dropped on the floor after "birth" and didn't grow for a few days and it won't stop now, go figure. The five gallon plant is growing like Seedsman said so I guess all their claims are using 5 gallon or larger pots. Sounds right, the 3 gallon plants will do fine I think, I am hoping for about 40-60 grams per plant or 80-100 grams from both with the other plant yielding 70-90 grams. My stash is very low so next grow will be 5 plants in 3 gallon pots between both tents, 3 in 2X4 and 2 in 3X3. I also added two 4 ft t5's with grow bulbs and lowered the cob from 24 to 18 inches in the 3X3 tent with the 5 gallon plant and it seems to be giving better results than last grow. Most likely the better results are from better seeds.

The plant in the 5 gallon pot is doing fine, 27 inches tall, with good color and slow vertical growth but no visible resin at day 37 (first three pics). The other two plants, in another tent, are 28 and 20 inches and also show no visible resin and are still growing vertically at day 44. I have only grown autos so I don't know what a photo should look like but the way my luck has been this year I may be growing my first photos. The plants have acted like autos in almost every way except showing visible resin and no vertical growth before day 40. Are these photos (last 4 pics)?.

Hi bud can't really tell from the pics if you've got pistils or (pre-)flowers coming through yet. Would expect autos to have 'em by now. Whatever you've got i'll tag along and find out :smoking: :pop:

Hope these pic can answer if these are photo or auto. First five pics are the plant in a 5 gallon air pot. The next six are the other two in three gallon air pots. The plants are female so I can't bring myself to pull them and start over. Also my "meds" will not last much past Thanksgiving. I will change my timer to 12/12 on Monday and report any changes. I have been feeding at at about 1/3 the Fox Farm recommendations and the plants seem fine so far. The five gallon plant will go into the other tent and the runt from that tent will go into the shorter tent. Will these plants grow much taller? Should I start some kind of training or topping? I have made the room as light tight as I can so I guess this will be my first photo grow.

It has been a week since I switched to 12/12 and things look good, I think. I put the taller plants in my 7ft tent and moved the runt to the shorter tent. The five gallon plant (1st pic, left) is almost as tall as the older three gallon plant, 39.5/41 inches. I cut the very top from both plants but I know I will pay for not training early, I really though they were autos. Seedsman got back to me and said that batch seems to be a problem and Ruth said they would replace. I said no, I will grow these out, it may be a blessing. I will also take the blame for the AutoSeeds GG not germinating, grower error. The shorter plant, 4th pic, is still growing slowly, still under 28 inches, but looks good.

Those are some big mommas VG :smoking: if they make it to the end you'll have a monster yield dude. And the way it's all going looks like you'll have no problem helping them along to term :smokeit:

Thanks. Can you advise about topping some more?

Hi VG, nice looking grow. I could use a bit more info about the "batch" that Seedsman says is a bit of a problem re. auto behaviour. I just planted a Seedsman NL, and if it will not autoflower, it will be tossed. I will not screw up my other two autos by switching the growdrobe to 12/12.

When did you get the seeds that Seedsman have identified as a problem? Mine were ordered a couple months ago. Thanks for any info. you can provide.

Sure man there's nothing to it really. You just slice through underneath a certain node and the plant redirects growth into multiple branches. It's something to do in early veg though so the plant grows into the shape you want. I've never topped a plant as old as yours are now, but according to a Greenhouse seed company grow video I saw, if you were to pinch the tip out of those tall main colas, it would slow/stop their vertical growth
