Lighting Second Grow - Red Poison / Purple Kush / White Widow

Hey guys, I've finished my first grow of NLB which ended up going much better than expected. :smoke: You can check out that journal here: https://www.autoflower.org/f44/first-grow-northern-light-blue-26082.html

Since I'm now fairly confident that I can grow some quality weed (Thanks entirely to AFN :thumbs I've stepped things up a bit for this grow. I will be attempting to grow 3 plants this time, which will be:

Sweet Seeds - Red Poison
Buddha Seeds - Purple Kush
Dutch Passion - White Widow

My setup will be the same as before with the addition of a second LED light (Custom Apollo 4)

Grow Area:
4'x2'x5' Grow Tent
4" Inline Fan and Carbon Filter
(3) Small Fans for Air Circulation
Small Ultrasonic Humidifier

Lighting:
300w eBay LED Full Spectrum+IR (180w actual)
Custom Cidly Apollo 4 LED (130w actual)
(4) 23w 2700K CFL's for Side Lighting

Nutrients/Suppliments:
AN 3-part pH Perfect G/M/B, Bud Candy and Cal/Mg (Will also be adding Big Bud)

Soil:
Pro-Mix Organic (plus blood/bone meal and additional perlite)
(2) 3.5gal Pots (For RP and WW)
(1) 1.5gal Pot (For PK)


Seeds were germinated on Dec 30th (Soaked in water for 12 hrs, paper towel for 2 days, then planted directly into final pot)
The WW and PK popped up after 1 day and the RP after 2 days (So far 100% germ rate so this method is working well for me)

For now all 3 plants are under my 300w LED since it has a larger coverage area. After a coupe weeks I'll add in the Apollo LED which the RP will get to itself and the other 2 will share the current LED.

Any advice, tips, comments etc. is always appreciated as this is only my second grow so I've still got lots to learn.

Weekly Update:

Alright so I'm at day 8 for WW & PK and day 7 for RP. I have some concerns so far, a couple of the seedlings seem to have weird mutations going on...

The WW which was the first to pop is doing quite well, looking back at the pics of my first grow it is a bit bigger than my last 2 were at this age.


The PK seems to be growing at a normal rate but the leaves have a bit of discoloration on them which was present right after sprouting. Also there is an extra set of leaves on one side of the plant... don't think I've seen any pics with a mutation like this before, should I be concerned?


The RP is the one I'm most worried about, as you can see the leaves are pretty funky looking and it has the slowest growth. This is the one I was most excited about growing so I'm a bit disappointed, do you guys think this will be ok or should I scrap it and start another seed (I have a Dark Devil still as backup)

Have got the same on 1 Frosty Dragon at the moment, 21 days old not sexed yet but looks like a girl but she is droopy and not looking strong
"she" was discolored as well but got better @ around 14 dyas.

Weekly Update:

Day 14 for WW & PK, Day 13 RP

Ok well things are moving along ok I think, gave them their first good watering till runoff yesterday, no nutes yet just RO + Cal/Mg @ 1ml/L currently.

The WW is growing like crazy, DP genetics really do seem to be one of the best.


The discoloration is still continuing on the PK but growth seems unaffected so not too worried. If it's the same thing tokaite had then hopefully it should stop soon.


And lastly... the "mutant" RP. Not sure what to think about this one, do you guys think it's worth keeping?

Sup Hans Nice selection of strains your growin here, very interesting to watch come along. As far as the mutation part of the pk both ones I am growing have had an extra lil leaf on their first set of leaves also on one side. So I guess this is common from pk.. idk for sure, I wouldn't be concerned.
