New Grower Second Grow Different Set Up

Im starting to panic. My carbon filter isnt doing the job. Its new this is my second round. Sweet jesus my room stinks this cannot happen

i think there may be ways to "recharge" the carbon in the filter... give youtube or google shot.... if nt better order one asap, its about to get really stinky soon!
Ill do that. The carbon shoildnt be out allready only two grows an its done...i got a sicky carbon filter if thats the case. Im back in the hospital woth the hubby another surgery tomorrow so i gotta figure out what to do

im pretty sure you can recharge the carbon some how to save some money. and the more "stinky" a plant/grow is the quicker your carbon will be used up... good luck with the surgery you 2 prayers your way!
So my carbon is not a refil one which is no problem. Whip out the tools an change to fresh new activated carbon but heres what i cant find out 1. How much activated carbon do i actually need? And 2. Is the activated carbon for aquariums the same as for my carbon filter? Sweet jesus just a few weeks left got to get this smell gone. Then when were ready to do the next grow i can just buy a carbon filter that you can refil an buy carbon in bulk once i figure out what kind of carbon to buy if there are doff kinds

there may be different kinds.. i would head over to the DIY section and that should be all you 2 need as far as info. i think i seen ppl do DIY carbon filters an from there you will be able to find what suits you
I ran into this it could be the case ure extraction fan isn't strong enough to extract the hot air wich is why the smell becomes so intense.
1= you could buy a Ona block and fan that totally removes smell and replaced it with what ever smell u decide to buy the fresh linen one is the most popular.
2= you can also buy carbon off ebay and all you do is pour alot of it into ure filter and put tights over the hole so the extraction fan dosent sook it all away and this works great and is very cheap a 2 kilo bag of carbon is a couple bucks.
