New Grower Second Go - Northern Lights Blue and CBD Crack

Week 3/Day 21

Northern Lights Blue is showing sex and has started her preflower stretch. She grew 2" in height each day since topping. Whatever causes Northern lights from other breeders to go long isn't present in this Delicious Seeds strain. Both plants I have grown started their stretch at just under 3 weeks. She's drinking more than her step sister and next Water will be a full feeding of Mega Crop. She does have a little bit of droopy leaves on the second node I think was caused by temperature fluctuations but I'm not sure. Color is good, could be a bit darker but over all healthy. Topping has had no ill effect that I can see. She started with long legs and still looks tall and skinny.

CBD Crack is not showing sex yet and has not begun to stretch. Her naughty parts are starting to develop though, I just can't tell what they're going to be yet. She's smaller than her step sister and a few days behind but I don't think she's stunted just a later bloomer by a couple days. Different strains and all that. Color is good, she is growing and I'll also give her a full feeding of Mega Crop next water.

I forgot to mention that I added a room "air purifier" or "air cleaner" to the grow. Not being in a tent or otherwise contained I had no extraction fan or smell control. It wasn't a problem with one plant but the smell was there. The purifier has a carbon filter and will help with smell and get some air moving. I also bought some cut to fit carbon filter for around $8 to replace filters when it's time in the air purifier but also to add to my furnace air filter, AC and/or the space heater I use in the grow closet. Basically anything that blows air and has a filter will have carbon filters added. Plants, weed smoke, farts, stinky dogs, sardines, sweaty dudes on a hot day and what not should be hard to detect in my house by using ones nose when I'm done filtering everything.

That’s got me thinking @Time that I might put a charcoal filter in the furnace duct to help out in the house for plants, weed smoke, farts, dog farts (a whole different level of fart), sweaty dudes (me), and cooking funk.

It seems to help. Food smells and dog farts don't seem to linger very long now that I run carbon filters in everything.

Week 4/day 28

Northern lights blue is still stretching and it looks like there may be pistols starting on her top bud sites. I have to look close to see them though so I'm not saying she is in flower yet. She got a full feeding of Mega Crop @ 500ppm + a pinch of epsom salts about five days ago and she is ready to be watered again this morning so I mixed up the same and will give it to her when the water sits and warms a bit. No def to report and no tip burn. So far so good.

CBD Crack has shown sex and has started her stretch. She was fed a full feeding of Mega Crop + a pinch of epsom salts two days ago. She hasn't been drinking as much as the NL but she should drink more now that she's stretching. No def and no tip burn on her yet either.
