Week 5/day 35

Roughly halfway done for the Northern Lights Blue. She's been in flower for 5-7 days and is still stretching a bit. She's big. I have to find a way to raise my light as it's as high as it can go without modification and her uppermost leaves are 19" from light and the serrated leaf edges are beginning to curl up just a bit. 23" inches is where I need the light. I watered her yesterday with 400ppm of Megacrop, 100ppm of Flower Fuel and a pinch of Epsom Salts. So far she is healthy, looks good and she is stinking.

The CBD Crack is a few days slower to stretch and flower but she is doing both. From the breeder specs and other grows she had the potential to be a bit taller than the other plant but she isn't. Could be being born a twin and a bit twisted slowed her growth or whatever but she is doing well regardless. She doesn't drink quite as much. Her next feeding I'll feed the same as the other plant with a bit of Flower Fuel. I don't know how well Megacrop and Flower Fuel will play together in the root zone but there is only one way to find out. The other girl seems to be fine with it.

I put dowel rods in both pots to handcuff both girls to. Being leggy, they both wanted to lean so I stood them up straight with the rods. I'll try to fix my light height during the early part of my next grows to limit seedling stretch.

So far, the girls are healthy with no sign of deficiency or toxicity. I have 5-7 weeks to keep it that way to meet my goal.

They look great dude! Nice and bushy lots of bud sites!

Maybe tie that high branch down a little. Keep it from stretching up so much?

I got the light raised two inches so now it's 21" from the top of uppermost leaves/flower. I put an eye hook in the shelf that's in the closet and ziptied the autocob to that. It was just attached to the clothes hanger rod that's a couple inches lower than the shelf. It's as high as it can go without raising or removing the shelf. If she stretches more or 21" is still too close I think I can raise the shelf without too much trouble.

Training would keep autoflowers short enough to solve the problem but I might grow a photo plant in there at some point so I might as well see about gaining light height now. Before I grow again, I'll have that shelf up higher and movable so if need be I can get rid of the grow and have a normal looking closet in a short amount of time.

They look awesome Time! Nice and healthy and nice node spacing always better for light penatration to buds. How has the first harvest been smoking? Had any recently after the cure?

I use it nightly, it seems. Apparently, weed and vegetables have something in common. I don't use either very often,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,unless I grow my own. :eyebrows:

It's a pretty good smoke after a few weeks in jars and it's pretty potent. One or two hits and I'm good for the night. It's what we used to call "creeper" weed because it creeps up on you. I think I have a nice little buzz going and 20 minutes later I'm zoned out.
