New Grower Second Go - Northern Lights Blue and CBD Crack

Week 2/day 14

Again, not much to report. Girls are still stretchy and I'll have to work on that next grow but it's not a major concern for this one. Lights are at 29" and I'm just gonna let them grow into it until flower starts. My goal is just to have healthy plants and I'd rather let 'em stretch a bit than burn 'em. Northern lights blue started a tad slower but has overtaken cbd crack in growth size.

Next water I'll tease them with their first nutes. Just a taste of MC at 100ppm. CBD Crack is dry and ready for a drink but NLB needs another day or two.

Looking a little leggy pal. I'd drop lights a few inches and build up the medium around the base of stem for support

I would take a plastic cup and cut part off (bottom part) so it's just a circle tall enough to get to the thicker part of the stem and put it over it pressed a tiny bit into soil and fill with dirt like highndry said, just a suggestion they look great overal!

I had a stake in with the cbd crack for her to lean on for a few days but now I can push them both over and they pop back up on their own.

The base of the stem looks too thin to support much more weight is my thinking. Could be a problem in a week or so. Building up would allow plant to send out more anchor roots too. More roots, more plant

Looks good man. Just my recommendation based off the girls and my grow. I would skip the topping. But the stretching looks good for LST. And so far looking healthy.

I hadn't thought of that. With those long legs maybe I'll bend those girls over now.

I think it will help. The side branching will thank you.

I know it's supposed to help with yield but I'm not even going to get through last harvest(which was on the small side) before I harvest again. But it would make them strengthen their stems if I added some stress.
