If you bent the cola over and didn’t break it off or break the skin open, you did it correctly. If you broke it, then tape it up and cross your fingers

Hey Gang,

So my Frankenplant finally decided to start flowering, had to put her into 12/12 so I'm convinced her genetics were off from the get go. Bent the main cola a while back and she seems to have taken it pretty well. Problem now is I literally have no room left in the tent (light can't go any higher, plant is all over the place getting crisped) and light penetration sucks. All I can think of is more LST and some trimming of big fan leaves....Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

I guess if you have to you could trim off the tallest colas so it doesn’t keep stressing the plant with light stress. If she’s flowering now then some bud is better than none.

August update: I've managed to McGyver rig my light in a spot where nothing will burn so she's just plodding along on her 12/12 cycle. Wondering if I could bump it a bit to have more light/more buds now that she's flowering Anyway, here's a pic, some buds is better than no buds lol....

Day I don't even know anymore lol, but she's starting to frost up good, got her on a 14/10 and trichs are still mostly clear, few cloudy and some hairs starting to turn, playing it all by ear but another 2-ish weeks I'd say....Cheers all.

I would think at least two more weeks but keep checking the trichs on the buds themselves, not the ends of the leaves. She looks good, keep it up!
