New Grower Second Go at My little Grow - Critical + 2.0

From what I've read Critical + 2.0 can get large but hopefully the LST will keep her in check. I'll top if I have to as a last resort, never been a big fan of it personally.

Fair enough, I only tried it for the first time on one plant in my current grow. It looks like topping has worked well on this plant but who knows until harvest time.

You’ll be fine with one large plant in there. You might have to top it or super crop it to keep the height down but it will be fine. A genetically small plant won’t necessarily bust out of that tent just because it’s in a 5G pot.

yea genetics definitely plays a role! i know ill be trying a 5 gallon sometime..

Day 2 update: Seedling is nice and tall (almost thinking a bit too tall?) and holding steady. She was a bit curved yesterday but straightened out now. Removed her little dome as I believe she's doing good. Thoughts and comments appreciated. Cheers all.

Friday morning update: The little lady is looking good, 1st true set of leafs are fattening up by the day and I can see the next set getting ready. Threw in a wet towel in a tupperware with warm water, helps bump the humidity and temps a bit which is nice. Happy Friday all!

Awesome!! This stage is tough to manage I find as the seedling is so delicate. If she stretches too much for light she will fall over. If you find she is getting too tall you can do a couple of things: drop your light a couple inches per day, build up some soil around her stem to support her (use a toothpick, straw, or something else if you want), and start a small fan to circulate air around the tent. You want a little movement of the seedling and this will strengthen her stem. Taking the dome off when you did is a good thing, she has leaves established for growth. You’re off to a good start, great job!

She seems to have stopped reaching for the light, I did drop it a few inches which seems to have done the trick. Was thinking of starting up the fan to get her swaying and strengthen her, maybe build up a little around the stem, see how she's doing when I get home from work
