Hello auto network friends, I am in desperate need of opinions and advice, other wise I would figure this out on my own, posting on the net isn't in my grow routine, lol.. Anyhow, I have been growing a nice crop, outdoors, yearly with my former boyfriend for the past 6 years, together we learned a ton and I considered myself a very successful farmer.. Now I am on my own and ready to go a different route since I dont have the land we had together nor a partner to venture threw the woods with, even if I had that land I'm afraid of the woods alone, lol.. So what I do have is a near brand new 24x24 portable building, top of the line, 4inch termite proof wood and high grade siding, leak proof, electric ready.. What I want to setup is 2 tents, one 10x10 x8 with four 600w hps/mh switchable systems, set up for stadium/sog style growing, that will be my flowering tent, for veg a 10x5 tent with 2 400w mh systems.. This grow setup, 2 tents, lighting systems, digital dimmable, fans, carbon filter, ducting etc, etc, along with my genetics is going to cost me about $5000, thats just a bit less than half of all the money I have saved to my name, I must succeed for this to be worth it, not to mention the extra bout $120 + a month on my electric so please if any of u indoor growers, auto indoor growers can give me your thoughts and opinions on my plan please advice me, also please advise me some best auto strains to be grown in this type setup, a 10x10 flowering tent setup for a stadium grow with an excellent auto strain is how I would like to kick off my indoor adventures, that way I got something flowering while I try to rebuild some photo genetics, thats the worst thing about this, my X has all of ” our” genetics, I left with only 12 seeds.. Looking for a good seed bank also, never bought online but now that is my only choice, probably will order with both herbies and the attitude, any comments on that also would be appreciated.. As far as strain advice goes just looking for something that is 100% stable autoflowering, yields well indoors in the type setup mentioned above and has decent potency, not to picky about potency, I love a good day smoke just as well as a hit n quit it u know..

That's a lot of reading, but I'm pretty high so I managed to get through it...

...As far as auto genetics, take a look at Flash Seeds, Short Stuff seeds, or Dutch Passion seeds. All are available on the attitude.

any seeds advertised as "fully-automatic" on automaticseed.com will also be a 100% bomb-ass strain, specifically Mossy's Medical Strains. Not sure if the site is working yet, but when it's back up, it's the nr1 place to source auto genetics.

Thanks for the reply, I have read so much of so many strains, there is wealth of information here :-) , one strain though that has caught my eye intensely, and cant find much info on, that is Dinafem Auto white widow, o.m.g, a sexy sounding beast, if anyone has info on this or even just an educated opinion, I would love to hear it. Check this, https://www.dinafem.org/blog/97-white-widow-autofowering

Oh that wonderful white widow, such a gorgeous strain, to capture that in an auto strain, astounding

My humble opinion - nothing wrong with Dinafem, but there are better auto seeds out there. I'd personally look for Amnesia derivatives if I wanted that kind of buzz. Taste better as well IMO.

Welcome to AFN. Wow, that's a pretty ambitious setup, I'm envious. Growing a crop of autos while you're growing out your mothers and clones is good thinking. A friend of mine here just did the same thing and it work out pretty well. By the time his auto crop was finished he had clones ready to go.

Both Herbies and Attitude are good, reputable seed banks. Both have quality genetics, good service and deliver to the US. Since this will be a one time auto grow, I'd suggest you go with feminized seeds. More money but you won't have to deal with males. If you were going to continue growing autos, then I would suggest regular seeds so you could make your own but no reason to in this case. As far as what strains to grow, you can be pretty confident with anything from Flash or Short Stuff. All of the Flash, and most of the Short Stuff have been bred Stitch, a member here. Some good day timers are Onyx, Auto Assassin and Russian Rocket Fuel. For more indica based, hard to beat Mi5. Jet47 and Himalayan Blue Diesel are also good choices. Also Diesel Ryder from The Joint Dr. I've also had good success with the Black Skull line, Jack Matic, Diesel Matic and Pineapplegum.

Autos are more nutrient sensitive than photo strains and rarely require more than 1/2 strength feedings. Keeping your pH in check is also very important. With their short life cycle you don't have much time, compared to photo strains, to fix any problems. Take a look at this thread, it will give you an idea of what to expect from your autos: https://www.autoflower.org/f44/life-cycle-auto-flowering-cannabis-5113.html.

Wow, great thread, and thanks for the reply.. I've read much about the auto assassin, RRF, and Mi5.. many others.. There r many good ones to chose from, I am gonna narrow it down to 2, get a larger order of the top 2 strains I chose and also order some 1-3 seed packs of many others, that is going to be fun.. What turns me on about autos is not a speedy harvest though that is pretty awesome, but what really turns me on about them is the ability to plant from seed and go into flower in so few weeks and without a change in photoperiod.. as compared to going threw veg with photo strains, that makes autos wonderful, there is nothing more beautiful than flowering cannabis.. and growing from seed with a photo strain, especially outdoors, the veg growth stage seems so long, though they are all still very beautiful in their veg growth, I always feel impatient for flowering to begin.. growing indoors and mixing in autos is going to be a blast, can't wait to start, doing my shopping now for many days, shopping for equipment is just as hard as shopping for genetics, so many lighting brands, tent brands, etc, but its fun.. I hope to have every thing shipped within next couple weeks, will be posting my setup once its arrived and setup, probably take me a bit to get up and running, nursing is my day job and keeps me so busy at times, seriously considering cashing in some vacation time once all my orders r shipped and here.. Got my electrician coming out this week to hook up my building, going to tell him I am hooking up a few tanning beds, going to need a few more circuits than most.. Thats one of my main concerns, running those lights, fans, duct fans, small a/c unit, etc. if I am correct, I need to add all watt consumption of all equipment I plan on running and divide by 1000 and thats how many new circuits I need to have my electrician put in.. Lol, I am a tad baked, I do believe that is correct based on all I've read, anyone know if I'm right?

With that setup you could put up anything, but would it be for comercial,or personal?A good comercial high yeilder is Big-Bud Automatic,or you could run one of the Northen Lights, or Iranian Autoflower, for dankness. So many new strains of autos out,and coming out deez days. You have high yeilders with low,or medium thc levels, and you have low yeilders that are some of the dankest smoke a body can have...so i.m.o it depends on what u gonna do wif the harvest.:+)KIK!

Autos are a lot of fun to grow. Once you get past about week 3 and hit that rapid vertical growth they are amazing to watch, often growing a new set of nodes a day. I love variety and to me, they are perfect in that respect. I always put a bit back from whatever I harvest and over the last couple of years have built up my personal stash to over 40 strains. I switch off every day or two and avoid any tolerance build up.

When laying out your electric, amps are a bigger concern that watts. No circuit should exceed 80% of it's rated amperage, so no more than 16 amps should be drawn on a 20 amp circuit. Don't know what you're planning for heat and A/C. You might want to take a look at a mini split heat pump. I think they are ideal for setups like you are building.

Well what we harvest yearly the law would call commercial but what it really is, growing your own medicine in a state that hasn't seen the light yet.. We would harvest plus or minus a pound a plant growing 12 trees, we started many more than that but u have to consider males then any u lose, I never grew more than 12 threw harvest.. we, had a wonderful piece land, security was no problem, lived on the back 10 of 80 acres, the other 70 were deer plots, ponds and woods. It was a blast, with a little knowledge and TLC its easy to grow a tree outdoors, especially in north florida.. It was nearly always personal use, other than sharing with a family member, and we needed a large amount, that took care of many months smoke and many thc baked goods, I love throwing an oz in a batch brownies :-) So indoors I believe my setup chosen will put out what I need to keep my needs met, and give me a variety of at least constant couple strains.

Wicked good luck with your grow. I am a Canadian medical grower with a license but license or not I totally support those who grow for medical consumption and also for recreational purposes.
