Those lights you are going to use are very hot and I think you said you were in Florida. Have you considered cooling? I use a combination of CFL and LED lights with fairly good results. you might want to reconser your lighting and go for something a lot cooler.

Hello auto network friends, I am in desperate need of opinions and advice, other wise I would figure this out on my own, posting on the net isn't in my grow routine, lol.. Anyhow, I have been growing a nice crop, outdoors, yearly with my former boyfriend for the past 6 years, together we learned a ton and I considered myself a very successful farmer.. Now I am on my own and ready to go a different route since I dont have the land we had together nor a partner to venture threw the woods with, even if I had that land I'm afraid of the woods alone, lol.. So what I do have is a near brand new 24x24 portable building, top of the line, 4inch termite proof wood and high grade siding, leak proof, electric ready.. What I want to setup is 2 tents, one 10x10 x8 with four 600w hps/mh switchable systems, set up for stadium/sog style growing, that will be my flowering tent, for veg a 10x5 tent with 2 400w mh systems.. This grow setup, 2 tents, lighting systems, digital dimmable, fans, carbon filter, ducting etc, etc, along with my genetics is going to cost me about $5000, thats just a bit less than half of all the money I have saved to my name, I must succeed for this to be worth it, not to mention the extra bout $120 + a month on my electric so please if any of u indoor growers, auto indoor growers can give me your thoughts and opinions on my plan please advice me, also please advise me some best auto strains to be grown in this type setup, a 10x10 flowering tent setup for a stadium grow with an excellent auto strain is how I would like to kick off my indoor adventures, that way I got something flowering while I try to rebuild some photo genetics, thats the worst thing about this, my X has all of ” our” genetics, I left with only 12 seeds.. Looking for a good seed bank also, never bought online but now that is my only choice, probably will order with both herbies and the attitude, any comments on that also would be appreciated.. As far as strain advice goes just looking for something that is 100% stable autoflowering, yields well indoors in the type setup mentioned above and has decent potency, not to picky about potency, I love a good day smoke just as well as a hit n quit it u know..

Another thing, and I know I write lots, girls talk alot, so anyways nother thing wanna talk bout is grow medium indoors. I have always grown organic, shit u can not bring indoors, I wanna grow in coco and try both canna nutes and advanced nutrients ph perfect, see which is best.. Also would like to try a clean coco soil mix. I started the seeds I did end out with in a coco and organic soil mix, only thing fed so far is a bit of bloodmeal mixed in, bit of epsom salt, and one tiny dose superthrive, its time transplant into final pots, will be adding in some bonemeal in the new pot towards mid bottom. Otherwise I will not feed anything unless I see they need , doesn't seem like much to give em but the soil was bought at the store prefertilized, we'll see, my former partner was the organic expert but I know a bit.. How can I post pictures?

Yes cooling, I will need bout 12000 btus to cool my 24x24 building, I plan on exahasting my room outdoors and intaking the cooled air from within the building, may need to take extra steps but wont know for sure till up and running.

I've been growing soil less for quite some time now, only using Pro Mix as my base instead of coco. I've also been using the pH Perfect for awhile with very good results. Blood meal is slow acting and you may find your seedlings lacking a bit in N. Should you see that, a mix of 1 part household ammonia to 10 parts water works well as a foliar feed. Once a day for 2-3 days usually does the trick. Autos also tend to use a little more cal/mag so a good idea of keep a cal/mag supplement, or epsom salts and molasses, on hand should a deficiency show. Generally speaking, autos require less nutrients than photos. Rarely can they tolerate much more than 1/2 strength, maybe 3/4. The prefertilized soil you are using, are they slow release? If so, they can be a bit problematic for growing autos.

I've been planning out a new hydro area and am facing some of the same issues as you with your new area. I don't want to suck all my cooled air back outside so I'm planning on a passive intake and running my exhaust fan on a timer. I haven't figured out the schedule yet, but I'll have it come on periodically just to change the air in the room. I'll also have another fan with a carbon filter that will run 24/7 to aid in circulation and odor removal.

I grow in 100% hydro SOG style in a large bubbly tank. This is so different from what you are doing. Muddy grows mostly in pots but he uses promix mostly. He is 100% chemical and uses PH perfect nuits. I don't know of any organic fed indoor grows that are getting really good results other than Muddy and a few others but they are all chemical. I am going to bow out of this because it is getting a long way away from what I do. Good luck with it and I hope you get good results for your effort.

What photo strains were you growing out in north Florida? I also live in north Florida but have had trouble with photos reverting back to vegetative growth during flowering. I just moved a couple autos outdoors and they seem to be doing just fine. Your indoor setup sounds epic I can't wait to see it up and running!
