Indoor Scotty's hydro garden

Got some Seedstockers beans planted at last. Ended up going with superskunk, Northern lights and OG kush. All autos, 1 of each.
They'll be going into 3 gal fabrics. Topped at 4th then LST'D for a nice even canopy. Really hope they stay quite small though, I've just been up working out what I'm gonna have to do to have enough space for the 2 sponsored auto grows. One of them is gonna have to stay 2ft tall at most. Pound from a 2ft plant without a scrog net sounds like a fun challenge though. Bring it on.

I'm a bit too drunk to post. Just need to tag someone then I'll edit this in the morning. Sorry for the unprofessionalism..... (And thank fek for autospell)

Thanks for the tag ES! Just got caught up and looking forward to seeing how 1lb'ers are grown! Off to a cracking start and am loving the training!
If you can remember can you please show me what the roots look like in the Rockwood cube when you think there ready to go into there final pots?

I certainly shall mate. I put water in that box as well just to help keep the rh up. Higher the rh the faster and healthier the roots grow.
The big ones are getting planted January 16th I believe so not long to go.
It's easy in NFT, can't grow big in pots to save my life but the res I use turns even the most clueless growers into jedis.
Gave my mate one with some 1 part veg, 1 part bloom and a pk booster. Fed quarter strength from seed to finish without ph/ppm meters or even the slightest clue of what he was doing and he got a 9 ouncer first time.
Can't get my head round why more people don't use them. Literally only ever seen 1 other person that uses the same one as me and that's the guy that taught me to grow. Few guys use the bigger versions but they don't work as well as the gt205 for various reasons.

What makes the 205 perform so well mate? Are they the 20litre res version

Yeah mate 20L, it's a bit of a pain once they get full size cos they drink 15 litres a day lol but I'm used to it.
The main thing NFT has over other grow methods is that there's no media, the majority of the roots grow in nothing but fresh air. Unlimited O2 without an air stone in site. I do use a little 2w one in mine but only because the roots won't grow past it. Without it there's a fair risk of the roots blowing the recirc pump.
The big issue with the bigger ones that people put multiple plants in is that the recirc pump is set low. Like maybe 2 or 3 litres per hour. As low as it goes without turning off anyway. Means whichever plant is closest to the drip gets the main share of the nutes. Closest one usually ends up bigger and because all the roots are in together the smaller ones further from the pump start struggling. Can get deficiencies that are hard to fix without toxing the big ones.
I've only seen a few people with the bigger ones and they all had similar issues at some point.
Only propper downside to the one I use is that you're basically balancing a 10lb plant on a 4 inch rock wool cube. Makes your arse twitch like. Big time lol.

I did have a look into them mate, it was a choice between 1 of those of 2 bubble buckets, I only have room for a 4x2 tent but want to run 2 plants at a time so the buckets made sense although last grow 1 plant ended taking up the whole tent and had to pull the other one as she was stuck in the corner which is why I've moved to photoperiod's as I can control the size a bit better plus my autos ran 100 days plus so may as well save a bit on leccy running 12/12
