Photos tend to start slower in the veg, after about 4 or 5 weekish you'll see faster growth especially in that system. I usually veg my photo plants in a corner somewhere while,I grow a few autos under 18/6 lol then once theyre big enough after a month or 2 depending on my plans I flip to 1212

Aye, speed out the box might not be as much of a priority for photo breeders but once they get going all hell can break loose.:smoking:

Had any thoughts about cloning them before flower @EvilScotsman ? Think topping my first few plants in a vain attempt to clone them them probably only helped the canopy and I have little doubt the stories about folk taking hedge trimmers to them to lower and level the canopy before flower are true:nono:

thats a pretty good effort like but fuck growing blue cheese again. when i done my 10 planter years ago that was basically just a clueless, pop em and let em go sort of grow, i had 1 barneys b/c and it reeked my entire house out. couldnt smell any of the others, just that massive, thick whang of the cheese all day n ni. far too jailbait for me that stuff like my mother inlaw would catch me straight away lol.
my target is slightly higher this time round aswell. anything less than 25oz will be pretty dissapointing. 28oz would be a gram per watt and i managed just over 0.9 last time so gonna push her till she breaks. in theory she should be able to take more than her auto counterpart so lt shouldnt be too hard. i just want to push and push to see what these plants can do, i love it. and doing it all with my shitty chinese blurples and a 14k cfl that couldnt produce a bud if my life depended on it is extremely satisfying. : )
stick yer designer panels up yer jacksie! im mars hydro all the way : )

The clones are your ticket skip this bit next time and go straight to the good bit by minimising the 18/6 time in your critical path....4 clones and 2 weeks veg on mature plants should fill either of our rooms and give us 4 harvests per year whereas going for an indoor monster might take you down to 2 harvests per year.

Rockwool didn't work for me very well either but given how much better root riot seems to work with seeds I'd also like to try them with cuttings. Think I'm going to run photos again next summer so can run 12/12 overnight when it's cooler and aim to have another auto grow ready for harvest about mid March and photos flowering by April.
