Indoor SCH & Chaze done wrong

I'd say this thread is more like SCH and Chaze done right...but hey, I'll let you be your own judge!

Thanks, but I suspect one needs to be a special kind of inept to grow a 16" Super Cali-Haze.:howdy:

At least I've learned that one needn't do EVERY abusive thing they can think of to keep a Super Auto reasonably short indoors.

Shanahan's an Oompa-loompa colored idiot. At no time after the first quarter was RG3 a better option than K. Cousins.

Tent is getting trichy.

Wonder if she'll go 'till her birthday.

very nice Gilbert

what kind of container do you used?

Thanks, Stitch.

SCH (& CG, for that matter) are in 3 gal (~11 L) plastic trash can with holes drilled in 'em.
Chaze is in 5 gal (~19 L) plastic planter.

I'm thinking the SCH has about 2 more weeks, Chaze around 3, CG maybe 6-10.
BWTFDIK?

Happy MLK day!
Or not.
No pressure.

Shot the girls yesterday when the sun came out for a bit. But don't get the wrong idea, the Super Autos really only come out to get their pictures taken. They haven't had >10 hrs of direct sunlight all grow. I pull the CG out more often - because anything's better than a couple 23w CFLs - but even then I only get about 3 hrs of sun. And that'll be gone in a few weeks.

OTOH, I spent a couple hours yesterday admiring my CG while blissed out on a couple bowls of well cured bud from her first harvest. That was a tad surreal.

Back before New Year's, I noticed brown tips on most of my colas. Turns out they were singed, as I'm now getting secondary growth around most of my cola tops, including the Chaze. Must have been the cumulative effect of keeping them about 4" under the light, as there weren't any temp spikes or other one-time incidents that I recall. Just one of the many things I did to stunt them. Kinda like radiation poisoning. But at least I'll be able to keep my day one promise of "no massive colas". It was touch and go there for a while with the Chaze.

The CG took a hard spill in the tub and suffered some fairly serious root damage. She can no longer stand upright on her own and requires a brace. Advanced age (and a stoned care giver) take a tragic toll.

But, in a certain light, the golden hue of her leaves takes me straight back to the mid-70's. If only I could get her buds to finish that color...:D. I tried girdling one of the males last Summer, but it just accelerated the death spiral without affecting the coloration much.

Coming down the home stretch. The seeded branches on the Super Autos should be cooked now.

The SCH hasn't done much in a couple weeks, but still doesn't look quite ready yet - to my noob eye, anyway. Haven't seen any amber trichs in the photos yet, but as soon as I do she'll get the axe. I'll put her under the scope sometime this week.

The Chaze doesn't seem too close yet. Trichs seem about 50% cloudy and almost all the hairs are still blonde. If she keeps putting on weight up top, I might not have a jar her cola will fit into; and I have 1/2 gal. jars. :head:

The CG is re-learning how to stand upright after I broke her hip a couple weeks ago. Old age is not for the weak.

I need to bring the soils inside to thaw out pretty soon to get ready for the next run (Onyx). Hope the -38F temps didn't kill the entire micro herd.
