Thanks for the backhanded compliments. I'm whelmed. But, seriously, Gradolabs captured the spirit of this grow awfully well. There are, indeed, plenty of places to see Stitch's gear done well. This probably won't be one of them. This is more about answering these questions: "I'm a lazy, cheap, unskilled hobbyist with a hankering for a haze. Could I grow one in the hall closet? Should I?" The answer to the latter is, almost certainly, "No." It's the former question we're working on here.
Ph this week was 5.7 in and 6.4 out. Just as God intended. :howdy:
Temps ranged from 56-99F, humidity from 16-70%.
Girls were both showing sex 11/21. May have happened earlier. Since they're both feminized, I haven't paid much attention.

In honor of the SCH's puberty, I introduced her to a little light bondage 11/12 - tying her little arms to the bedposts. Today, I went full spread eagle on her. If I can keep the 4 secondary branches that I got by topping her at about the same height as the 4 tertiary branches that are coming off the first node where the middle has opened up, then I'm hoping she won't be able to stretch all 8 branches past my light. If she can...well then I'm screwed.
The Chaze, @ day 32 from 'up', is a round mound of biomass.

The Chaze is about 8" tall today. The SCH is a BDSM influenced 5". That's easily a foot shorter than they would be at this age if grown well [See: any of the grow journals of these strains]. Which is GREAT for me, as all of those grows end with plants at least a foot above my lights. [And those growers all cheated - they used fertilizer.]

I'm assuming a 3x-4x stretch when they go into full flower mode. So my drop dead height is 10". If they aren't in full flower by 10", then I'll need to go 12/12 and induce. I've got about 1m of headroom in the tent, so from 10", a 3x stretch keeps them under the light and (reasonably) pretty while a 4x stretch gets ugly but probably doable. I feel like the SCH is on schedule and would be in full flower by the time she recovered from my various abuses and hit 10", but it looks like I'll have to go 12/12 this week to induce the Chaze. Because of her comparatively happy childhood.
What I don't know could fill the interwebs, but in this specific context what I don't know is: how long to stay on 12/12 before going back to long light, how much stretch to expect from these strains, and when/if that stretch will stop. The last grow (WOS CG and Holy Smoke MG) screwed me when I used the same philosophy outlined above and went 12/12 when they were at 12" - but they just...didn't...stop...stretching. Ended up with a 4', a 5', and a 6' plant. So...if history repeats, I'm screwed here, too.
And reality set in last week and I abandoned any hope of flowering the re-veg girls and killed the MG. There just isn't enough room. Or time. I kept the CG around just for disaster insurance, but it's doomed at this point. Next time I do a photo run, though, I think I'll set aside a year and run 'em twice. The re-veg branching and subsequent yield potential is...well, lets just say it appeals to my greed and sloth.
