Indoor Saving The Old Dragons

Week 5 - F4.

The cold has significantly impacted the size and health of the control group. So in the event we are finished with the sub zero, I have put in 4 more. Again, birthrate is excellent.

The grow area for the rest has been changed. Better sharing of the light. Some plants have started showing sex. There will be a lot less than this next week.

I have started adding nutes, and then calmag from next feed on the remaining.

Week 6 - F4.

A little early this week, but the camera needed charging so thought I do this while I was messing. Seedlings coming along fine as temps stable this week, in the green zone at least.

With the new seedlings, I killed off one that was not growing at all. I could have left it, but I've got plenty of poor plants to kill off already & don't need any more.

All plants have shown sex this week, and we have four of each. Of each sex we have an array of different colours. Female there are two blond, one light purple, and one darker. Male, one blond, one light, one medium and one dark purple. Don't know that I'll be keeping any of them for pollen, but the very dark purple one is interesting.

Say hello and goodbye to most of these plants.

Same bruising on the bottom of these plants, again the cold has a lot to answer for.

Think i might give up on the date things, now there are multiple ages being grown. Ready when they are ready kind of thing.

Temps are a little warmer in the tent, while outside it is a steady bbuuurrrrrrr. Still not great, but manageable.

Here is a group shot of the remains, after the cull. All but 1 male removed, and 3 females put into a single pot. I've kept the male to see how he fares in the colder conditions. Going to stop putting in seeds for 4 weeks now, give time for nicer weather to come in rather than wasting seeds.

Two weeks old, and seem happy in their conditions. These are faring a lot better than the first seeds.

Male shots. Of the 4, this one seemed the strongest, and had colour.

Another week in, and the weather has took another turn for the worse. It is supposed to be bad for the next few weeks, and so I am suspending the current grow. The younger plants have all started to look poorly, and tucking in on themselves due to the cold. We will restart in 1 month's time with some new plants.

Here's a few shots of a male that I like, and has not been affected by the cold as yet - pollen being produced.

Good luck with that:bump:

The male has amazing colour, I like when the two lines up the stem turn colour.
Weather has been so crazy this winter. We got 3feet of snow in one day then 2 days later it was raining. I had to get extra heater and when its cold cold out I'm lucky to get 38 humidity in room. I'd use humidifier but I think I'd be putting water in it every 5 mins.

Yes, he really does look the part - especially under poor conditions. I have kept some of his pollen, just in case.
