Sweet spread mossy! Here's another idea for your palm and any other debris you have around the property. How easy is it to rent a chipper in Spain? You could gather up all the woody and plant debris from around the property, toss it in, and presto, a huge pile of mulch to help hold moisture in around your plants. That will help conserve moisture and keep the plants more evenly watered.

It isn't hardcore under the thin layer of gravel..but it might as well have been.
Feels like compacted clay..what a job...I didn't have the strength to complete it.
Hubby took the easy way out and went off to do other jobs..until the last 1/3rd..then he did all the back fill.
Raked up all but a thin layer of gravel inside the tunnel and used that to bed in the side too.
Got my Buddah in place..facing the first rays of the morning sun.
Hubby is going to cement him onto the column before I paint them.
Starting to feel like Home....
OBTW...when we went down this morning..on the south facing patio full sun was 4C..tunnel was 10C..
by lunch time patio was 10C..tunnel was 20C....
so it Works....
I'm busy cleaning out the conservatory for the plumber to get in tomorrow..so I'm dragging the pots with my patchouli..and tomato germs etc out to transfer down there into the tunnel....:dance2::dance2::dance2:

I'm looking to produce from my farm a 50 component fruit/veg/flower capsule..using everything I can grow and source easily...and using traditional sun drying methods when climate allows.

The plants with everyone's Help will be totally Organic..even though I have heard getting Organic Certification in Spain is almost Impossible..it will be Run on that premise..and you will be able to See all of it..so we are Guaranteed the Quality of the medicines. .

I'll Start planting citrus..and I'll be using the leaf and the peel in preparations for us and our plants.
Check the Links coming in....citrus because it is cheap and available here..keep our med costs down.
Last year I cured red spider mite on my buddahs hand citrus plant using only homemade orange oil and soap water..
so I'll extend my trial to other plants..if it will Kill red spider without plant damage..it will be a winner...and most people throw it away.
I can source Organic olive leaf and fig leaf for free around me..but I will be looking to plant my own too.
When the chillies go into production I will be working on making a nerve pain cream using the high scoville rated ones..also a chilli/alkaloid capsule..for the Chilli Wimps like yoda...."Nammy's Lusty"...Lets Work on our Alkaloids Theory..Linalool too.
I'll TRY to set up the blue print for a medicinal garden..see if we can get an Idea how much garden our members need to grow their own Health Plan.....from scratch...see how Practical it is...
