Indoor Ryker604's Indoor Extravaganza feat. AutoPots, BioTabs, HID lights and 17 plants

Mate out of interest, I have some autos at my GF's that I have started in root riots and now in 4 litre pots of coco. Double potted, with strips cut out of the sides and bottom of the inner pot. When I transplant up to final pots I'll just slip the outer pot off and plant the slotted pot. Saw someone on here do it.
Id like to see what you make of that transplant method was thinking about trying it pretty sure it was 912greenskell that does it this way and maybe slow and easy also

I'm going to try that too next time. I'm using clear solo cups so I can see the moisture level and the roots. Two cups with the inside one having the bottom removed and I'd drop that in my final pot. But having big chunks cut out of the sides is probably a lot better for a so called transplant. The last time I did a cup transplant with only the bottom removed I didn't drop it all the way down in the pot. A good 3 inches were above the soil. That slowed them down quite a bit I think, but thankfully I think they will be ok. But next time, I'm going with greenskell's instatransplant idea.

Yeah thats the fella mate. Nicked it straight from him. But went for a decent size first pot up pot so it can stay in there for a couple of weeks maybe. I reckon that should remove the awkward watering phase lol.

Looks great in here man!

Great journal. Love the 4 tents and variety. And learning from what is happening and the back and forth dialogue. Good stuff.

Definitely agree with that sentiment
:vibe:

Thank you guys for the kind words :toke:. Probably the main reason why I'm running a journal is that I can get different opinions on what I'm doing and get a discussion going, so feel free to share some knowledge, it's appreciated .
And hopefully one day I'll start both grow and journal in sync, so I can have a "live feed" for my problems :smoking:.

Fook knows @Ryker604 is beyond my skills now mate! :crying:

Too much light seems like a good option but I am high as a kite on cheeeeese :pass:

Looking very bloody cool anyway mate, and have you posted me that 2 oz of double grape yet? :crying:

(Authorities: That is a JOKE)

Love the variety and amount of buddage in your gardens dude. Well Jell as my daughters probably said about a decade ago ;)

Well, be as it may, they're on their own now :crying:. I backed off the light and backed up with the Bio Pk a little bit, bigger changes next grow and I hope they will be for the better :pop:. Yeah, I'll trade you some for the Disco Biscuits (STILL A JOKE :smoking:).

And FFS bring that 4th tent in from the arctic for goodness sake! -50 outside temp still dude, sort it out mate ;)

Stop hijackin' the thread you dirty old geezer :cuss::crying:.

Concerning the transplants, I've read about that method and that seems fine but I'm thinking more of a nursery pot as you said, not exactly a root riot and not really a pot, something in between :2cents:. With that in mind, I'm planning on using some HGA Garden Woodee Pots - biodegradable nursery pots, around 0.3-0.6 L in volume, depending on size. But keep me updated how that goes for you.

All right all right, been a little busy this past few day and a lot has be going on :coffee:. Some explanation is due - we're on day 74 of the grow while the last update was from day 57. I have a smaller update for day 59 and a huge one for day 61 and after that it's blank until yesterday evening on day 73.
So, there is a 12 day period in which no photos were taken because I had to go on a 10 day business trip and the basic needs of the plants were taken care by an "apprentice" :smoking:.

Once I got back I could definitely see that the lights were TOO CLOSE as some of the plants have been SCORCHED :shrug:. Anyways, more about that later, back to the update, a quick one as I have a lot of writing to do :cooldance:.

DAY 59

Girls are on cruise control, stackin' buds, nothing major to report.

It would be nice to hear from him. And we are behind ours nicknames here on forum, so I don't think it's dangerous if he explain this. Many guys here would love to hear those steps you writing about. 4x400-600 W is a lot of watts, plus ventilation etc. I really wonder if there is some troubles with electric company if you run all those watts.
