Yeah, looking better by the day :smoking:.
Very nice mate! Some proper fatties in your tents
So how close were the lights to do that damage?
You butcher!! [emoji23]
Complete rookie mistake dude, really. Trough vegetative they've mostly been on 40-45 cm but when flowering came and the plants got bigger, I pulled the lights up to 30 cm - which is an all right distance it seems but that applies to PHOTOS not autoflowers . The lights are now on a 50cm distance and I think that's ideal, the plants are already looking better/more lively .
Well, I'll write it all here now - I'm 100% sure that the lights were TOO close in flowering and 90% sure that's what's mostly causing all the problems. My light regime is 20/4 and with that regime you don't need your lights to be that close to achieve the daily light integral. Photos can handle it because they only get 12 hours of light in flowering. With the light intensity I was giving to them the bigger plants didn't have enough gas to handle all of that but the shorter/smaller plants took it OK - they were either more away from the light or they needed less food due to their smaller stature.
That's my conclusion with all this CalMg def and light distance business, a complete rookie mistake and totally my fault . But hey, you live and learn right, my next grow is going to be BONKERS for sure .
One serious question, bro! Didn't you affraid of high electricy bill? Inspection or something?
I suspect Mr Ryker has thought of that and taken adequate steps mate. Possibly not one to discuss here?!
It would be nice to hear from him. And we are behind ours nicknames here on forum, so I don't think it's dangerous if he explain this. Many guys here would love to hear those steps you writing about. 4x400-600 W is a lot of watts, plus ventilation etc. I really wonder if there is some troubles with electric company if you run all those watts.
It's all right, I'll gladly answer the question because many people who ask me about growing are interested in that.
Honestly, I don't think that 2500W is that much power dudes - I mean you got air conditioners that run at 3500W, you got electrical heaters that run at 2000-3000W. I got no other appliances running in that space and it's winter - people use more electricity/energy anyway - and as long as I can pull that power from the grow place I think it's all right. One tent costs me around 30EUR monthly and all those electricity bills are paid on time and no one complains.
And I never heard that someone got busted for running 4-5 tents and paying their bills BUT I heard a lot of stories were people were stealing power and got busted. The MAN mostly doesn't care if the cash is flowing .
In conclusion: really don't think that's a problem - you could run 2 computers, an electrical heater and a little sound system and probably use more power than me :smoking:.
