Ruderalis. an unsolved puzzle

These are pure ruderalis.
It still only took them roughly 6 weeks to flower and produce seed.
Note the inter node spacing, might be hard to see.
It's 6 to 8 inches!
These are 3 of 4 plants doing a seed run.
The 4th was harvested last Friday.

By their very nature, they much prefer having bone dry roots.
The plants also do much better in a cooler enviroment than under hot lights.
This particular run did better growing at a window, than under QB's.
Nutes used were GH trio at a rate of 1.5ml each / 1.5L.
Because the plants were grown in the solo's with peat.
They did need a regular feeding of calmag.
The stain I happen to have would prefer having just decent tap water and calmag only (no nutes).
They tend to burn at nothing.
My tap water is still 180ppm (on the 500 scale), with a ph of 6.8
PH was readjusted to 6.3 for the convenience of the plants in the tent.
The rest of the mix was used to feed the plants in my tent.

When I see people having issues with their grow using auto's.
I think its probably because of a combination of factors, like over watering or to strong a feed that leads to issues.
Cause all auto's have some form of Rudy in them, and this bitch is hard to kill.

@GeorgeCloney how is your project progressing? I have a batch of those same Rudy seeds and have 4 in pots right now. I was trying to use them to create seeds from my other autos and hopefully lower the THC content and raise CBD content. Very interested in your experience with them so far

So today I took a risk. I've pinched the head of the left one. I'm a little nervous because some say it will increase the amount of stems and others say it's not worth the try cause it might be more reactive to physical stress than a sativa, triggering an early flowering phase. Any advices or experience related to this ?

So I went with a commercial auto for the original cross with my cambodian landrace. The f1s are excellent in regards to size, buds and leaves, as I would expect in an f1 between photo and a worked auto. Haven't sampled them yet, but the scent is lemon and quite similar to the Cambodian mother.

Now I have germinated two rudys to try the cambodian landrace cross with a purer auto. The ruderalis is the chebarkul from Khalifa genetics(now out of stock) , stated to reach a height of almost two meters, starting flowering after two/three weeks from sprout.
They are one week from sprout now and very tiny. Photos from breeder webpage and instagram look very promising!

Cloney, canadian and others, have you ever seen any foxtailing in your rudis?
I am hoping to find a beady/pearly bud pheno to breed into the ABC strain, and I have read that some autos will show this pheno, and it comes from the ruderalis genes. I haven't figured out how to tag you in my other thread, so I ask you here.

Yes foxtailing seems to be very common with several strains of ruderalis as I have found.
I'm not too concerned with this trait.
A work around is fiming or LST.

What I am more concerned with is internodal spacing.
I'm breeding dwarves.
The last thing I want is a plant with 6 nodes and 30 inches tall....NFG :nono:
Note in the picture below.
3 different plants growing in my nursery.
Shark bite on the left(mostly indica).
Micron auto tao in the center(mostly ruderalis)...notice the nodal spacing??
Dr.Feelgood on the right(mostly sativa).
All 3 dwarf.
All 3 pure f4's pheno hunted for height.
Now the fun begins with crossing to get the speed of the ruderalis.
The CBD from the sativa.
And the calming couch lock from the indica.
