Lighting Royal Queen; Royal Bluematic X1

I'm wondering if a portable water softener like RVs use would work for purifying the water for our use ... they hook to a hose and cost under $200 for a lifetimes worth of water ... I buy RO water for .25/gal at about 4 different places locally ... at that price it doesn't get expensive but it would be nice to have a filter in the garage ... works on the washing machine too ...

yeah man i buy my RO everyday too 2$ for 4 liters ahah . maybe once i get some money i will invest in one these XD

Week 5 and I have added another 6in clip-on fan (both on low) to move more air and I think she likes it. This girl is now at 24in and still growing at almost 1 inch per day. The bud sites are looking better so I guess she will slow vertical growth by next week. Tonight she got 1.5gals of 5ml cal/mag grow and a half cap of superthrive at 6.7ph.

Day 38 and she is now almost 28in but I think the vertical growth will slow down as the bud sites grow. I watered today with 2gals of 5ml grow big, 20ml big bloom and 5ml kangaroots at 6.5ph. This is the last veg feeding with FF nutes, may give her a cal/mag grow by Monday but I think vertical growth will be done by that time. I am going to do some looking around at the RV filter idea of Chesters', there are several RV dealers around and I like the idea. I can put the filter on my basement laundryroom wall and run a hose from my sink to the filter and be getting my water from my sink.

Hey bro, she's looking nice and healthy :d5:

Just a thought about your water source... is there a reason you haven't just bought a cheap RO filter system? I've been using a 4-stage RODI system (similar to this) for almost 10 years for my salt water aquariums and also for my plants now... It's definitely worth the small investment, buying jugs of water every week gets old quick lol. Since you have a laundry room sink to hook it up to this is the way to go for sure. "My 2 cents"

Thanks Hans, you are right. I have to go to the store again tonight for more water. The cost for this aquarium model is half the RV models and I only need about 20-25gals a week so this would work.

Decided to move the bluematic (left) into my larger tent and replaced her with a jock horror (right) that was not doing well. The blue has slowed, as expected, to only a half inch of vertical growth a day and will be done soon and ready for bloom nutes by Tuesday of next week. The jh had issues from day one and the blue was doing well so I switched in hopes of improving the buds. RQ said that bluematic would flower for 5-7 weeks, five more weeks is all the time I can give if I want to keep to my schedule. The swich from 135w led and two t5s to 2-bs240s and 4 t5s should make quite a difference.

Week six and vertical growth stopped over the weekend, just at 29in. Flushed with a gallon and a half of 10ml/gal sledgehammer at 6.5ph last night and a gallon of 5ml tiger bloom, 20ml big bloom and 1/8tsp of beastie bloomz at 6.5ph. This lady has been a joy so far and if the smoke is as half good as claimed I will keep a bean or two around for when another fails.

Day 45 and the move to the larger tent with more light and the change to bloom nutes has sparked some good bud development. The plant has a rich green color and resin production is picking up. The beastie bloomz makes a difference and the sledgehammer helps with ph control and the switch to bloom nutes. I tried a larger amount of beastie bloomz (1/4tsp vs 1/8tsp) on the jock horror in my drying tent and had brown spots and other unpleasentness so for autos 1/8tsp seem the limit. Today she got 1.5gal of 3ml cal/mag bloom and a half cap of superthrive at 6.4ph, soil ph before watering was 6.8/6.7ph.
