Another clever plan, another Baldrick moment. After I changed the 4 T5's from grow to the pure bloom bulbs vertical growth stopped. Plants are 32,31 and 22in. Today, day 35, each got 1.5gal of 10ml sledgehammer at 6.5ph followed by a gallon each of 10ml sensi cal/mag X-tra (4-0-0) and a half cap (8-10 drops) of superthrive at 6.4ph. The good news is that the resin is pouring out and the buds look good. The smallest plant, last two pics, will have the best looking buds. The leds are at 12in and the color is very good, soil 6.4ph (accurate 8) before cleaning.

Two days since the girls received their first bloom feeding. Each got about 7 quarts of 15ml big bloom, 5ml tiger bloom, 5ml kangaroots, 5ml microbrew and 1/8 tsp of beastie bloomz per gallon at 6.4 ph. The resin production is impressive and the color is good. I think the T5 pure bloom bulbs make a difference and I will get 4 pure grow bulbs for my next grow. The 5 gallon air pots are getting too heavy for me to take in and out of the tent as often as I would like. This makes the wife happy because the skunk smell is getting ripe. I will need to start removing some interior leaves for more light because once again I have a crowded tent, LOVE THIS HOBBY.

Day 45 and everything is going well. I repeated last weeks feeding, cal/mag on Monday and this morning. Today each girl got about 7qts of 10ml big bloom, 5ml tiger bloom, 5ml microbrew and 1/8tsp of beastie bloomz at 6.6ph. My soil ph was a bit low (6.2) so I increased ph a bit and I saw a few spots on some older leaves so I lowered my nutes a bit. I think that it is easy to give too much phosphate and other stuff and this will look like cal/mag def or another def. The pure bloom bulbs give the plants a different appearance so color might not look as good in the pictures as it is. The plants have good resin production and the lower buds closest to the bloom bulbs are developing well. The main buds are getting some orange and the smell is awesome.

This week on Monday each plant got 2 gallons of 8ml/gal of cal/mag plus at 6.5ph with the last quart or so being run-off. Today each got about 7 quarts of 15ml big bloom, 5ml tiger bloom, 5ml microbrew, 1/8 tsp cha-ching and 10ml bembe at 6.4ph. The trics are mostly clear with about 25% milky at the mid level buds. I am happy with the bud development and resin production, Dinafem delivers again. Without another 100w+ of actual led light I don't think I should expect much more from the plants. Maybe next time I use 5gal airpots in this tent two plants will be better. Right now I have about 30w/sq ft led plus the T5's, enough for now.

They look real good to me VG ... your airpots hold an amazing amount of water ... the 4 gal nursery pots I use will hold 1 gal max before beginning run off ... that lasts my plants for 3 days ... Merry Christmas ...

Day 62 and the harvest cleaning begins. The tallest girl (33 in.) is first to dry out from last weeks' feeding. Today she got 1 gallon of 10ml sledgehammer followed by another gallon of plain water both about 6.7ph. In another day or so the other two girls will get the same treatment. Harvest will be the 16th-17th. I didn't remove any of the lower branches or interior air buds because the corner T5's (Agromax pure bloom) have helped them develop well.

Beautiful plants VG ... Looks to me like just the right amount of light ... I think that grows need less wattage if they have the light well distributed ...

Next grow I will use the pure par veg T5 bulbs and 4 plants in 3 gal. airpots not 5 plants. This year I want to lower my grow costs and improve the quality of my product. I don't need more yeild, but I would like better taste and smell. My cleaning and curing was not up to par so I am going back to basics. Four grows a year from each of my two tents is enough, with the right seeds.

I agree. Now that I've found out how easy it is to grow buckets of buds reliably the next step is reducing costs and improving on the buds 'qualities' ... something to aim for in 2016 ...
