I asked for this filter for my birthday, an aquasana. It costs too much ($160) but what the hell it's a present someone else pays for. It filters water as well or better than pure or zero filters and it is much quicker at filtration because it is pumped through the filter not gravity feed. The thing makes a bit of a mess but it looks good doing it. I was spending about $100 a grow ($1 /gal) on bottled water, now just a few dollars. Also my dogs and I drink it, I had to test it first. The Pure and Zero filters cost less to replace, $15 vs $30, but these filters last over 300 gals vs 30-35 gals.
