Hi all!

I'm just wondering if anyone has grown this before.

Using GH flora nutes at 1/3 strength. Started this week with the "transition to flowering" formula. It's currently under a 125 watt CFL full spectrum in DWC, 20/4 lighting regimen.

The thing will not stop vegging! It's about 3.5 feet now and still going strong, 7 weeks in. It has displayed some large preflowers and the side branches have started to explode into growth but she just wants to keep getting larger, and actual budding sites are nowhere to be found. She really is in perfect health all around.

According to Royal Queen it is a 10 week strain, but this pheno is going to go much longer than that. I am wondering if this may mean that it is leaning towards the original Jack Herer and farther away from the Ruderalis genetic lineage. If this is the case I don't really see anything wrong with the extra time.

Could this also mean that it is a super auto or Amazonian strain? I have never grown these but seems like it is acting like one...

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I haven't grown it but looking at seed finder they are saying it is 40% sativa with a top height of 90cm. Probably your lack of light is what is causing the stretch. Too little light and they will continue stretching, trying to get closer. Couple that with the fact it has that much sativa and you have a recipe for stretch.

I wish I had a way to take a pic at the moment. It's not stretching at all, it's more like a shrub. The growth is very thick and lush, so it's definitely healthy just not wanting to flower yet. Strange!

Just got off chat help line with Royal Queen Seeds. She said that they have experienced this pheno. She couldn't give me a reason why but some do indeed grow larger and take more time than the others... At least the breeder has experienced this as well !!

hey nben...i just finished a grow and had 2 royal queen j.h. they for sure shrub out and ake awhile to get going. But when they go look out their monsters! you can look over the grow it's in my signature. they can take some heavy nutrients as well.
10 weeks.... shit. My girls went 16. 18 if i count the 2 weeks they did nothing and damn near died.
Mine did veg for what seemed like forever too. But i switched their nutz to bloom cause i had others in the flood table with them and that seemed to sow them down. Hope that helps

the smoke is definitely sativa.

Fantastic roark!!!!! Thanks so much for the info, going to check your grow out. I was starting to think I was the only one that has grown this haha! When you started your seed did it sprout a little pale with reddish pink on the tips? I have never seen a sprout like that, went away and is obviously healthy but it was strange to see that!

Thanks for stepping in roark, awesome information.

I did something I am VERY afraid to talk about here.

I took two cuttings off the bottom of the plant. I know, I have read the nay sayers! I have also read some positive things as well.

I just did it as an experiment. I plan on treating one with colloidal silver and the other will be pollinated. They are rooting in an Aerogarden right now (Just took them Wednesday so they are only 2 days in). I did not do this for bud, but as a way to recuperate the money I spent buying the seeds. If I can get a hundred fem seeds from this experiment I will be exploding with happiness!!!

Fingers crossed:gthumb:

I don't know why you'd be scared to mention that- we will all be stoked if it pays off. Probably just need the one to reverse- then pollinate a couple buds on mom...
