fine-ass '22 harvest!
:smoker1: :gary: :pimp: It's that time again! :woohoo: :cooldance:

Back at the grow-spot-by-the-Bay for another round of outdoor photo's, plus the tent at home for autos... This place is at a friend/clients, dead flat sea level, less than a mile from a cold Bay in CA which as always has it's share of challenges! Summer days are often foggy in part or totally, night mild... Fall is when the best weather comes thankfully but early rain is a distinct possibility.... So, all strains chosen are made with speed and mold resistance boxes checked!

This years line-up:

-- Lilly (Original Delicatessen)... a nearly pure Sativa 3-way African cross with blazing speed, 7-8 weeks bloom...
-- Skunk Special (Female)... hoping for some road-kill stank-
-- Purple Afghani Kush (Dinafem)... fingers crossed for the pineapple aroma pheno'
-- Orange Juice (Dinafem)... orange aromatics-- yummm....
-- Gorilla Breath (HSO)... heavy hitting new strain from them...
-- Aunt of Farouk (originally Derg Corra Collective, mine repro'd by Stickman)... very excited to be trying this much beloved landrace Paki'
*-- Crack LOG (Magic)... interesting F1 cross between Legend OG and White Crack auto; not intended this year, but the Skunks were looking dicey for germ', so I started this as back-up,.. sure as shit, the Skunks made it after all.. works every time! :haha:... Now, as an F1 auto x photo cross, it's very unlikely to auto, but it can and HAS happened with other such crosses, so we shall see,....

Tent Auto's:

-- Night Queen (Dutch Passion).. hoping for that elusive strawberry pheno,...
-- Citrus Noir (Stone's Autoflower Portal)
-- Cherry Bomb (Bomb)
-- C99 (HPG).... later start on these, I tried some old GHz99 beans, but they failed, so I started this parent... a couple of these stalled out too, older seeds as well, but I think I have a winner now!

>> Soil: this year it's Empire Builder (Sanctuary Soil) for final pots of the photo's, seedlings started in Roots Organic original
Auto's are in King's Mix (Royal Gold), very happy with this soil, it did great last year! All auto's are in a milder blend using GBD/Mephisto's dry soil amendment mix, but will get supplemental additions as deemed needed,....

>>. nutrients/supplements: the usual mixed bag there again,.... I'm giving Megacrop2.0 another try, but mainly as a base veg' nute, I will very likely be switching at least in part to another bloom base or seriously supplementing it, but I'm not sure what just yet... possibly mainly organic? I will be using Sweet Candy and Megazyme from GLN as well,...
The salt substitute is for Cl, a micronute often overlooked and seldom included for whatever reason,...
...here's most of the spread-->

>>> OK, pics of the gang, all in the tent for now, but the photo's are on light reduction and phasing to outside starting tomorrow... Meantime, the auto's started at 24/0 for a week or so, now will finish on about 19/5....
I think for the photo's, all will be topped at 5th node when ready,... AoF maybe not though, we'll see... they are reg's, and hoping for 1 female out of the 3 at least!

>>> auto's: tent is 4x2, pots are 9L, lights AutoCOB's
...little ones, C99... ones in the big pot are looking weird, and somehow got double planted!.... clockwise right from there is NQ, CN, and CB,....
pending on how those C99's shape up, they may get yanked out and the styro' cup one slipped in....
They are showing an odd Mg defc., not sure why, but the last round in the GBD mix did this too..... hitting them with Optic Foliar Overgrow supplemented with micronutes, soil treated with Ca-Mg since I'm using a blend of RO and hard tap water,...
These 3 were started beginning of June,...

Some beautiful strain selections there mate :d5:. Can't wait to see how they perform for you :pass:.
:passit: spotted! ... thanks mate, I'm excited as well, especially about Lilly... she's supposed to have Pina Colada aroma ... and her speed claim, that will be put to the test!
I have some catching up to do in this section for sure,... you're in the OD Comp. aren't you? :headbang:

I have a nose like a blood hound when it comes to sniffing out a good thread to follow . Have you grown the night queen before...?...she's high on my list of grow candidates but I haven't gotten there yet....maybe this summer!! That strawberry milkshake pheno sounds delicious as does her heavy body stone . Pina colada you say...is this a pretty common terp profile with Lilly or like winning the lottery :eyebrows:. Either way you can't complain about that bloom speed for a sativa mate:thumbsup:.
Our outdoor comp has gone perpetual this year so I might hold off entering anything until the sun gains a little more intensity and days are a little longer. :pass:

:pop: havnt had the pleasure watching one of your grows yet im in .:pass:

I'm in, show us all how it's done mate

:pop:

Good to see you in action again and nice selection you made, happy growing W!:pass:

:toke:  thank you mates, appreciate the boost! It's indeed fabulous to be back on the Grow again after the Winter break,....
Ribbz' I dunno about that,.... no pressure man! :haha: I do need to go to school sometime on your method for LST, I mean really get in there and work those girls! I will do some light branch bending tomorrow, it's time, past it actually.... they were a little slow to throw out laterals, well save CN, she's plain thrusting now-..... NQ needs to get busy there though...

That damn heater has a pretty shitty thermostat, rather inexact, and it's gotten cooler in than it should, and it shows in the size,...but we'll see! I'm happy if I get about an oz/gal pot size with this feeding regime.. next round, no more GBD mix, I'll be running a different nutes regime,... Might try the Nectar For the Gods free sampler package! But I've been warned most of the stuff stink to high fuck and back!

Mongol I need to get out your way and see what you're up to! Did I see you aren't doing the guerilla corn field grow this year? I always liked that gig, very cheeky!... but also butt-clenchy- :eek1:....

pardon while I fire off promised tags.....

@trailanimal @Jraven @robbio @arty zan @Duggy @Rebel @FullDuplex @StickMan @tobe @davisgirl @RivetGrrl @sniper

@Female Seeds @Dinafem-Mark ---> guys, if you like, I'll set up sdie journal in your respective section if you like! Thanks again for the sponsorship :thanks:

ooops!....

@the green bandit ... no mate, NQ is new to me, but her reputation is stellar, regardless of pheno'! She lives up to her name, this is nitey-nite bud...
Lilly is a tough research, she's so uncommonly grown,...but at another forum I found some great feedback, and so far all got the tropical cocktail aromatics! The original breeder Mario Bellandi made a limited but amazing group of strains, so I'll be trying others too... probably Eddy next, another juicy cross...
Here's part of what a kind member found for me, also info from seedfinders shows Congo#1 has a dash of Paki' Chitral Kush in her:

This is the only info that I was able to gather from Mario Bellandi's posts at Cannabisonline forums concerning his catalogue and pedigrees:
  • Queen Mother = Reunion x unknown sativa from Spain x Congo1
  • Dreams & Honey = Congo1 x Congo Banghi
  • Her Majesty = Queen Mother x Mexican 70s.
  • Alice = Queen Mother x Congo1
  • Lilly = Dreams & Honey x Queen Mother.
  • First Lady = Mexican 70s (in theory gifted by Robert Clarke).
  • Eddy = Himalaya Huesca (North India or Pakistan strain) x Congo Banghi
  • Upstream = Lilly x Himalaya Huesca.
>>>
Ohhhh get that grow boner on!!
Don't mind if I pull up a chair by this fire, thanks for the tag :smoking:
:crying: shoulda seem that one coming! :greenthumb::woody::greenthumb:.... Cheers luv, glad to see you her!
