Extraction RosinTech Smash review - great press

Rosin tech smash......what a sweet press it is!! This is my first experience with a rosin press, and i have to say this is one well built machine! Weighs in at 40 pounds. When i received the box there was a slight bit of damage to the outer box, but the contents inside were perfect.

I started the pressing at 60 seconds at 200F, but then increased to 220F for 3 minutes...it all looks great and yields were increased. Super easy to use, and works great!!

Shipping was very fast, and i received some extra stuff as well that will be very useful!!

This is the bud being pressed...nothing special at all...lots of smaller bud not worth trimming.

4 grams or so scrunched up into a ball for pressing...will make a prepress i suppose!

Quality of parts 10/10 - very well built
Shipping time 10/10 - very fast shipping
Effectiveness of machine ?? - need to run better quality of stuff first
Ease of use 9/10 - super easy to use

i dropped some onto a couple of papers today and spread it with a heated razor blade...great joints!!

Did a couple of kief runs today...wow does it flow using kief!!

Was informed that i ran it a bit too high in temp(220F for 3 minutes) hence the darker colour. Will be doing another batch of kief using 180-190F for 3 minutes and compare the three.

220 isnt too high necessarily, I press at 230 most of the time anywhere from 1.5-3 mins. It all depends on the strain. I have had some that pressed better at 250. Its more likely going press darker no matter what temp, I just chopped a Kings Kush auto and pressed it for 2 at 230. She is a blond lol.

Very similar to Ripley's og. I pressed that at 180 and it came out like little crack rocks. I could pick the up and just drop the into my banger. Was cool looking stuff, I will see if I can press at that and get crack action again and post them.

My bad didnt see it was kief. Havent pressed that yet, but ya I heard that needs to be low. That what happens when you look at post from the bottom up lol.

Worked more kief at 190F for 2.5 minutes...nice stuff!!
