For the wicks it has 2 upside down pyramid looking spots in screen where u pack soil into so that when you fill reservoir they are hanging down into the water to be able to wick the moisture up! And def stays super moist and noticed when I let it get too dry in full size earthbox the worms were not happy and kept jumping out the overflow hole! I have to leave the drain pan under it to catch them and toss em back in! When stays moist they r active like this and also see tons of babies just below surface!

I haven’t seen any fly outta mine but to be safe I have done multiple doses of nematodes and added predator mites and I will be planting something in the other junior before rove beetles arrive Wednesday so hopefully HSO arrive today for battle plant or prob gonna drop 1 from roc’s mixed autos and just surprise myself!

Gnat control (bti) is some wonderful stuff. add to your water every 3 or 4 days for about 16 days and no more gnats.

Yeah, I had em pretty bad. Finally got em under control but a bunch of freaky things went on. I did lose one girl completely. Now I've got the warriors in my compost/worm bin and add to every box I start and then every 2 weeks - at least when the warm weather is here

What size fabric pot is she and how tall is she? I am thinking of starting one of these in the next few days, or a Magic Cookies. She looks good and healthy. Nice work!

Thanks! She is in a 3 gallon pot. I am running it in BuildASoil 3.0 mix and using a scaled back/simplified version of their feed/supplement schedule.

I LST’d her so she is about 10” tall from soil to top. I would guess 18-20” tall at this point without the LST.

Why did I think the Buildasoil 3.0 was no feed/addtl supplement required? I think a buddy of mine has been running it start to finish, water only...

So this is my first run with it so I can only speak to what I have read. I have definitely seen some people do water-only, but BuildASoil’s schedule on their site is actually pretty involved with lots of suggested additions to just the 3.0 soil.

I called up and spoke to one of their guys and he suggested since I was doing smaller pots to top dress with their Craft Blend (general dry amendments) and their Build-a-flower (compost/castings/flower nutes) a couple times throughout the grow. I am also using their Rootwise Microbe Complete which is basically the same thing as Recharge.
