Is that mosquito dunks? Do you have to break them up or do they dissolve in water?

so i buy the straight powder not the mosquito dunk, but it is the same thing yes.

NO MOSQUITO DUNKS DO NOT BREAK UP AND IF THEY DISSOLVE IT IS SLOWLY OVER MONTHS! I beat 1 with a hammer and only dented it til I bashed the shit out of it and only broke into like 3-4 pieces! They do make mosquito bits u can topdress and water in that’s same thing just tiny flakes not big donuts!

Why did I think the Buildasoil 3.0 was no feed/addtl supplement required? I think a buddy of mine has been running it start to finish, water only...

Because it is a water only soil so don’t need any additional nutes! Not sure what their regimen calls for but soil can go on water only! Teas usually help tho to get nice big flowers! My dinafem cbd I forgot and got N def and was pretty wimpy cuz get the def in flower!

So this is my first run with it so I can only speak to what I have read. I have definitely seen some people do water-only, but BuildASoil’s schedule on their site is actually pretty involved with lots of suggested additions to just the 3.0 soil.

I called up and spoke to one of their guys and he suggested since I was doing smaller pots to top dress with their Craft Blend (general dry amendments) and their Build-a-flower (compost/castings/flower nutes) a couple times throughout the grow. I am also using their Rootwise Microbe Complete which is basically the same thing as Recharge.

Awesome. Appreciate the info. I'm going to be using a fairly similar soil (though I would've rather used the 3.0 but the shipping is nuts) and Coast of Maine has a little guide that says to do something similar if smaller than 15gal pots, specifically add some bone meal after a month or so.

The 3.0 is more "designed" for plain water. The "light" version is designed more for amending, using their schedule and its less expensive

Anyone interested earthbox either already made or is making me a custom coupon code for peeps to use! Think it’ll be ORGMEPHHEAD and couldn’t find any codes searching google for them like u can for most places! I mean I found some but not 1 worked! Here’s frozen scoops today after trim

Started using that homegrown bokashi stuff and it is some dope stuff! Screw grokashi I got the full seed to harvest line for $40 plus shipping and was 5X 1lb bags! Has like foundation/kelp blend, Azokashi blend, Crab/kelp blend, seabird/kelp blend, and ocean/oyster blend! I have only made it they those 1st 3 I listed and gotta go to next every 2 weeks thru grow! Is learning experience for me since using it on autos!

The company is called homegrown bokashi! It’s this stuff! It’s a 5 part seed to harvest set I got! It’s a nutrient specific bokashi so u can topdress it in any pot for both microbes and nutrient feed for the soil so plants don’t wind up with def like some water only soils will! Def good stuff in the earthboxes!

Not only is it the bokashi oats but it’s baked with down to earth amendments when the bokashi is fermented! My plants love it! Also has good stuff like rice hulls and some other goodies! I found them off Instagram! Def cool person too!
