So based on what im getting here and through research around the interwebz ive come to the conclusion that unless you're using it for a TLO component that you plan to treat as such in the future, it is generally advised against reusing ffof as a straight amended medium. So based on research here im pretty sure im going to stop buying traditional soil and begin preparing a TLO batch that i can continuously use, feed and amend. I want something simple to start with that i can build into and adjust as the mix grows older. I saw your beginners post on TLO's, X. Lots of great info in there. Thanks for taking the time to post that man. The info seems a bit daunting at first but i think im going to enjoy digging into this organic thing =)

It's like that for everybody, it seems. It is the most manageable and efficient method, IMO. But, it is really tough on the brain to change from feeding plants to feeding the medium. Once that clicks, it seems simple as pie.
