4D...don't know if you kit has Wago blocks that need to be connected. There's a description of them on the internet and being old and kinda dense took my a while to figure them out. It would have saved me time and grief if I'd just done the search on how they work.

Gotcha, no worries. I used them when putting together my HLG 135W 288. I didn't have any issues with them.

The parts I have on order through Kingbrite right now won't be using Wago's. I'll be going from the driver to the solderless cob holder, and then the driver will be using a waterproof connector to the power cord.

I recently saw Bava products on Amazon and took a chance ordering.

I had good communication w/ Alwen and got me a 240w kit in less than a week shipped to US.

It’s a mix of 4000k, 2700k, Cree 660nm & 730nm, and lg 385nm?

All I can say it’s put together cleaner than my 4x qb120 setup in a 2x4 tent. Doesn’t have a plastic potentiometer, it’s metal housed. And the heatsink is legit, despite my prior statement.

Time will tell, and I look forward to posting my findings. Be Well

Great find! Bava had limited product offerings when I checked them out last year. Seems like everyone has got everything these days. Good for us growers!

Anyone familiar with these guys?

I’ve talked to them. Decided to stay away due to a few reasons.

1. Company has morons for sales rep, or it could be just a few dudes running a sales office. They would NOT tell me basic info such as diode model, temps, numbers of each etc. All basic info. Said it was their industry secret! Told me that I’ll find out everything after I buy it! Like I said, morons!

2. They would not accept local payment (to help me save money) and refused to ship to my local shipper (again, to help me save money!) Reason given was, they claim many companies are trying to copy their products! Copy what? It’s just a couple of 288 boards! I suspect they don’t know their own products!

3. Prices are higher.

I’m probably going with Kingbrite, although they have become rather cocky these days, due to grower recommendations. Hope it gets better!

I talked to Aaron and he answered all my questions and made a few pretty decent offers. I’m just kinda torn between Canna, Bava, Kingbright and Brite.

Despite their ego growing, Kingbrite would be the better choice in terms of price and service. These newer companies can always just spend some money and start afresh with a new account, different name if things go south for them. For example, if they made a bad batch and too many warranties to honor, they may as well start afresh. With Kingbrite and Bava, that’s quite unlikely. Their account and years of customer building is worth much more.

Just stay away from Meijiu!
