@davisgirl I've had a little.search and people are.saying it's good to mature the buds but not to expect much weight gain if any.

I'll keep an eye on your thread, looking forward to seeing your results. I'm managing to keep my checks down to 2 or 3 a day which isn't too bad but the thoughts of chopping her down are getting stronger every day.

Have you decided how your going to dry your plants?

Still up in the air. I have an empty tent I can use for drying and I was going to go with that. But I’m worried about losing aroma so I might go with the paper bag method. I need to reread the harvesting thread and see where things are at with RH when the time comes.

I'm not sure if RH is that important when using brown paper bags, seems to be more about temperature <= 18c. My plan is to either put the bags on a wire rack just outside the tent next to the intake or wire rack in the tent depending on whether I do a staggered harvest or not.

Day 71

Took a few pics with the scope earlier, can still see some clear trichomes but definitely more cloudy than on Friday.
She's still being fed 2ml bloom, 1ml magne cal per 1l. Smells awesome and still packing on the weight.

Day 74

Hope everyone had a great Christmas!

I was in a rush yesterday and wasn't able to mix up nutes so just fed her plain water. Came back today and her leaves have started to fade nicely and buds seem really firm. Checked trichs and they look more cloudy to me but I'm never too sure so snipped off one of the smaller branches, trimmed and cut into golf ball sized buds then placed in a brown paper bag on a rack and left in the room next to the intake.

Let me know what you think about harvest date.

She looks great! Can’t ever have too many bud shots, nobody gets tired of looking at those.

I don’t have even a single harvest under my belt, I’ll be watching to see what others say. She looks like maybe 50/50 to me? How long do you think it’ll take her to snap in the bag? Any early weight estimate on her?

@davisgirl She looks about 50/50 to me too.

For the bag drying I'm hoping it'll take 2 or 3 days as there's not much in the bag and it's sitting at about 18c.

I have no idea what weight I'll pull off her. Might have a slightly better idea once this small amount has dried.

Looking good in my option one more week till chop I like a lot of cloudy with some amber she will gain nice size over next week and from here on I'd feed just water

Day 82- chop day

Hi folks hope everyone had a cracking new year. Chopped my blue dream auto today, fed her plain water for 5 days and then allowed to dry out for the last 2.

She took ages to trim and managed to line the bottom of 5 large brown paper bags with bud. Placed the bags in the tent with a fan blowing across the tops and the extraction on low.

I really can't thank you all enough for the advice and encouragement to get this done.

Heres some pics

On to Autoseeds Girl Scout Cookies for the CannaZone' competition. Can't wait to see what an autopot and Biotabs can do.

Will update with dry weight and smoke report in a couple of weeks.
