It was a real mixed bag that grow. 3 pineapple express. You can see the foxtails springing on all over the shop and that was the least effected!

It was a mammoth trim job. I think it was around 14 oz but took days to trim around all the foxy bits. But because you can get all the leaf off the taste is amazing, you're only smoking calyxes.

40cm should be minimum! Even that can be too much for some strains. I try to keep mine a minimum of18" (45.7cm ) from the light

@pop22 i remember now the vendor said should be good at 20cm, i have lifted it a bit more now so were see, the rest havnt got bleached like that although one is showing similar growth but hey 40cm minimum ill strart running out of room hahahaaa

I run a 315 cmh and a 600 hps and I can get the plants alot closer to the hps. Depending on strain but I don't think I ever get within 20cm of the 315 before I see stress

Ok this morning noticed fans were running before lights on, silly billy, sorted that.
And now after considering i have lifted the light some more cos if left could still be causing harm to my babies so it's now a good 35cm above tops, we're see how this goes, they better not start growing even more up lol.
Another newbie question @witchyhour @pop22 @Itisi @wiltstone is that will these straps be enough to hold the carbon filter ? It is what there meant for right ? Edit: also is the light too close to the filter ?

Sorry, I don't use filters...but the fans can run when the lights are off, it shouldn't be a problem. Some people actually recommend it. [emoji121] [emoji6]

Yep, that's what the straps are for.

If the filter isn't hot, then it's not too close.
