New Grower Preflowers at 26 days

Fast & Vast, 2.5 gal. Hempy, DynaGro Grow + ProTekt @ half strength, 300W LED.

Not so easy to spot in this pic but they're there. She's only about 6" tall. I noticed she was starting to get an aroma and when I looked closer, there they were.

I was going to put this in the sick plants forum but she isn't sick. Very healthy. Little to no sign of stress. She's just got her first period way early.

Any ideas why? Anybody else had this happen? A fluke in the genetics? Of course I'm going to grow her out to see what happens but I'm kind of disappointed.

No experience with f&v, but some autos flower very early. Got 3 sour crack right now all started preflowering around 4 weeks and one of them has no sidebranches and maybe 10" tall. Last plant i had do that barely produced a half oz but the smoke was amazing! Gl, if you have the space keep her going and see what happens!

Edit: measured and shes right at 6" also. Not overly concerned, just not expecting much quantity from her

She's sure fast, but not even half vast!

It's interesting that all of your sour cracks are doing the same thing. It would be interesting to find out if other people are seeing fast bloom in these lots of seeds. If these were from the same breeder I'd say they had a rogue daddy but maybe it's just a gene (recessive?) floating around in the ruderalis pool.

I'll certainly be letting her grow out. Waste not want not. Plenty of room, I usually do only one plant at a time. Most likely I'll start a new one pretty soon though. Maybe another strain, maybe another one of these. Depends on how the spirits move at the time.

hahahaaa first period hilarious...I have some wappas that went thru puberty at 15 days.one was a bleeder....my Ultimates showed at 20 days,friggin built like a 2x4 !!!!

My two tiny wee girls showed at 4 weeks. Should have raised the light to get them to stretch but didn't so they are now around 14 inches and almost done. Cutest little ladies with only a out half Oz on them unfortunately. I'll know better next time. Live and learn right

26 days is not early at all. I average around day 18. I have had a couple plants(Cherry Bombs) show at day 14. My last two Sour Cracks around day 17 I believe.

I don't want to have to be the guy to say but the plant in your picture is VERY stressed. Looking at the clawing on those leaves there is a mild nitrogen toxicity going on for starters.

I have grown my fare share of fast an vast it is a wicked smoke simple as that. Some stretch and some stay squat but usualy bigger then 6 inches buy day 26 from my observation. As said raise the light bro 300 watts can be bright. I use the 300 watt lights here is too complete different phenos of fast and vast. to see it in bud by now is right on par with the fast an vast. they can be done quick

I do have a lot to learn about autos. This is only my third auto grow. The first was years ago with LR2 and that got to about 3.5-4 ft. More recently was a Candy Kush, I just looked back and she was showing preflowers at 26 days too - she was bigger. It takes some getting used to having them do their thing in such a short time. I guess the "vast" part in Fast and Vast had me hoping for more.

Today she's showing some signs of stretching after raising the light from 12" to about 20 so I'm hoping for a better yield than I thought at first. It's interesting that there seem to be so many phenos. It's good to hear another vote for the quality of the smoke!

I had myself convinced that the curl wasn't from too much nitrogen, the DynaGro being 7-9-5. The pH control isn't the best either, I just recently got a pH pen and she's running a bit high, around 6.8. Soon's I can afford it I'll get some pH up and down. I've been a lazy seat-of-the-pants grower for a long time and I gotta buckle down and get dialed in.
